Best method to accessing USD in the US

Hi all,

Will be moving to the states soon and i was wondering what would be the best method to having access to USD in america?

Reason im asking is
- Will be taking 5K USD with me
- Will be transiting and stay in China for 18 hours (most likely go out to makan etc)

I'm thinking of using Maybank overseas transfer but using this method would make me lose over 60USD i think.

Any other methods that would have minimal losses? Sorry im a bit of a noob at these kinda stuff.

Celcom roaming unbilled over RM800

- I called CELCOM before leaving the country to enable and activate ROAMING >> OK
- Arrived in Singapore, enabled Roaming + DATA and it connected me automatically to M1
- Unbilled currently over RM800, Celcom asked to call back once the unbilled changes to billed so they can advise me what had happened

Is this normal? I thought it was RM38 per day for Unlimited DATA, i did not make/receive any calls and was always connected to M1, when i wasn't i put it on FLIGHT MODE so it does not auto connect to other providers

Has anyone had this problem before?

Help with Expedia Booking

Heres the situation

I made a booking under Itinerary #123 for the 7th - 8th Dec. I made this booking in error, forgot to change the dates , anyways this booking has a NO CANCELATION POLICY!

So i thought maybe i call them up and ask them if possible to amend the booking to the 12-13 Dec even tho there was a no cancelation policy for the booking. (try my luck)

I call them up and during that had advised me that they are not able to cancel it and will have to charge me a 2nd time for the 12-13 Dec under the same booking Itinerary number. FAIR ENOUGH

Here is where my problem starts, i decide that rather than waste my original 7-8 Dec booking i'd just go Jakarta early and use the hotel for that booking date. But when i call Expedia and the hotel they said that 7-8 Dec booking does not exists because it was replaced with the 12-13 Dec dates and was cancelled

I mean how can they cancel the booking for a future date when they did not refund me any money, they told me they will be investigating this case and will get back to me on Friday.. zzz

Shattered iPhone screen? how many times?

Should be an interesting poll and thread! How many times have you dropped and shattered your screen and how did it happen?

For me it was once, drunk in Korea walking back to my hotel and as i pulled my phone out of my pocket it slipped and fell face first on the concrete road haha! the pain only sunk in the following day haha!

Replaced screen for RM2xx last year.
