I am looking to buy four CCTV cameras for my double-storey landed house. The areas I plan to install them are:

seek help to buy a desktop and monitor

Hello Sifoo,

My sister wants to buy a new CPU and monitor. Her budget is RM 3200 (maximum). The criteria are:

1. For work (administrative tasks)
2. Watching movies/K-dramas
3. Gaming (possibly Dota 2, Counter-Strike 2, but not AAA games)

She went to a computer shop in Kota Damansara and claimed that it was the cheapest deal she found. I will attach the image for Sifoo to check and advise. That shop quote her RM 3500 for this spec (refer image attached)

My questions are:
1. Can you help list out a desktop and monitor for my sister within the RM 3200 budget?
2. Her house uses WiFi 6 (if I recall correctly).
3. We can exclude the keyboard and mouse from the budget. I can find those for her within a budget of RM150 for both.
4. Where can I buy it? Should I go to Lowyat Plaza? Digital Mall? or is there any specific shop that you guys can recommend?

Logitech - How can I check whether it is original

Hi Sifu,

My friend is telling me he has a friend who is a supplier selling Logitech products at a low price because the shop will be closing down soon. The reason why the seller is selling at a low price is because he cannot return the product.

To cut to the chase, the products are still sealed and come with only a 7-day one-to-one warranty with the supplier. He claims that the products are original.

The specific product in question is the Logitech G PRO X2 Wireless Gaming Headset, priced at RM 500.

My questions are:

1. How can I check whether the product is original? If I am able to connect it with the G Hub software, does this mean it is an original product?
2. Is there any way to check the authenticity of the product, such as through the product warranty page? The seller mentioned that they only provide a 7-day one-to-one warranty.

Morgan Chest Freezer

Hi. I just bought Morgan chest freezer and this is my first chest freezer. When I open it, I saw some damage inside (not sure this is a damage or not).

I saw plastic that wrap the inner macam sudah koyak. My question is, is this normal or defect? Or I need to peel that plastic off? It seems to cover the whole inner.

First of all, I’m so sorry if I created an existing topic with same problem but I need some help and explanations regarding my problem from my fellow androiders. I'm having difficulties with my MMS setting. I tried to Google and read the available topic in this forum but it didn’t work for me.

My PROBLEMs are:

1) After I deleted the Celcom 3G APN, the mms won't work. My MMS sending and receiving failed. When I clicked the [download] button in messaging, it says "Currently cannot download ..."
In my APN setting, the Celcom 3G MMS doesn't have the green round button. If I change the APN type to be MMS, (the green round button appeared but still can't retrieve mms)

2) If I changed the APN type to default, my problem was, when I send the mms it seem I have to turn on my mobile network and it cost me money…but it works! I got Facebook widget on my home screen and it appears to update the status by itself and I can browse the Market and Facebook apps even though I didn’t have any Celcom 3G APN in my settings.

I should not be able to surf Market and Facebook apps right? :blur: Suddenly without sending or receiving MMS, My prepaid credit from RM25 now has become 0.09cent. Sigh...is it because of the apps that are running in the background? (Some of the apps do have the privilege to access the Internet right)? BUT if I turn it off, MMS picture, be it in sending or receive seem not working. How to enable the MMS without “kredit kena telan”?

Hi there..

My friend currently is selling laptops and I'm kinda shock with the price or maybe it's a normal price for you guys.
Here's the price:

All Brand New
Acer Aspire 4740G RM1500
Dell Vostro V1014 RM1400
Dell Alienware M15x RM3000(nego)
Macbook 15" RM3000(nego)

I didn't get any full specs or details regarding those laptops. I tried to compare with Dell's website especially Alienware product and it seems to be cheaper from the retailers. Is it a scam or the price not included with warranty?
Hopefully can get some advice from you guys
