Here is a problem that I need someone opinion...

For some time now, my PC start normally and can heard the windows login sound BUT no display.. and sometimes while idling, suddenly no display.

My current solution to this; open up the casing and touch a bit the GPU... even change the 6-pin socket to another 6-pin socket. When start up again, then display will be okay before it will happen again in future. It happen on uncertain period and can't predict when it will happen again.

I already test the GPU with Furmark.. okay for 15 min testing. No crash what so ever.

I suspect my mobo PCI-E socket loose, but can't be certain. No other GPU to test.

My Spec are below:

Win 7 Pro (64 bit)
Pentium i-3-2100, 3.10 GHz
RAM 8 GB
Mobo Gigabyte Z77M-D3H
GPU Sapphire HD6850 1GHz

Anyone with same experience or knowledge to solve?

S Guard Extended Warranty

Hello guys,

Does anyone purchased S Guard Extended Warranty while purchasing LED/LCD TV from local store?

I purchased the Extended Warranty on 2011 (2y+3y) while purchasing Samsung 40inch LED TV. Now nearly 2 years, suddenly I remember this. When I try Google nothing come out except another store also offer this kind of Extended Warranty.

We don't know what happen to our TV in future, so just to be prepare.

So anyone know about this or have claimed from S Guard Extended Warranty?

HELP please -Jaring wired broadband-

Hello there, I hope someone can help me on this , since the Jaring technical team still don't give some solution.

I just subscribed the Jaring Wired Broadband. My area is Jeram (between Kapar and Kuala Selangor). I check through area availability, my fixed line is not in Jaring's serviceable area.

BUT, they said that my fixed is in coverage, so I go registered. After the port been jumpered and ADSL been set up. Called the center to activate my account. login. but error 718 and 678 (Remote server do not respond) always occur.

Technical support said that it should be okay, BUT STILL IT NOT OKAY ... Is it because I still have dial up account with tmnet that I can't connect?

I did some research on internet that show some solution but I wonder is it telephone line problem because my neighbor used streamyx just fine. Because I still can't connect

This is what I found on the net..

Problem Error-678
Description This is most common problems. It is due to poor connectivity. Problem can be anywhere between B.RAS - Tier 2 - DSLAM - Modem - PC of the customer.
Remedy Switch off / Switch on Modem (Power Switch at the back of modem ) and wait for 2 minutes. Then retry.

If problem is not solved then Reset Modem [Back pin (in the hole) to be pressed in switched ON condition]
[Note : Link PC in black type Modem or WAN / LAN in white type Modem will go Off and then ON and system may be stable. Then retry.
If problem is still not solved then
a)Check link lamp in Black type Modem or WAN lamp in White Modem. If it is blinking, then it is line problem.
b)Check Modem to splitter connectivity.
i) Jack in & Jack out the cable of / to the modem and to the splitter
ii)Jack in & Jack out the telephone connection of the splitter.
If lamp is still blinking - then it is due to poor line condition / fault.
The case has to be referred to Area Broadband Team for attending the fault.

Problem Error-718
Description i)Peak Hour - This problem occurs if loading is high on the system and number of customers exceed the call handling capacity of B.RAS.
ii)Slack Hour -This problem occurs if PPPoE is corrupted.
Remedy i)Peak Hour - Please try after some time.
ii)Slack Hour - Please load PPPoE again.
