Long story short, my old Radeon 6800 XT is in RMA now, and I might have to get a new GPU.

what would be the current available options on the market now?

The ASUS Vivobook S 14 Flip OLED (TP3402) seems like the viable option,

So I have this ancient Big and heavy Acer Predator 17 laptop, and its battery seems kaput, cannot be charged.

Since the product warranty is expired, does anyone know a good place to but a new battery replacement for it?

So, my current build is:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon™ RX 6800 XT GAMING OC 16G
RAM: G-SKill F4-3200C16S-16GIS 16GB RAM x 4 sticks = 64GB
Mobo(motherboard): Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE (rev. 1.0)
CPU Cooler: Silverstone Hydrogon D120 RGB
Power Supply: Gigabyte AORUS P850W 80+ GOLD Modular
Usage: photoediting, video editing and upscaling, gaming.

Been planning to upgrade to a AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, however, given the current situation of the mobo (refer this post here)
I am beginning to think maybe I should go for a new build.

The difference:

- Upgrade to AMD Ryzen 9 5900X,
- New AIO
Total cost: MYR 2k something.

New build
- AMD Ryzen 9 7900X
- X670 mobo / motherboard
- New 64GB DDR 5 RAM
- Reused the GPU, PC case, and PSU
Total cost: MYR 5k.

If I choose to upgrade the CPU only, there is a chance the current Gigabyte X570 motherboard might have issue in the future, given that one of the CPU pin is kaput.

If I build a new system, the cost is higher compare to CPU upgrade only.

What do you guys think?

Long story short,
the CPU_Fan header of the mobo, a Gigabyte Aorus Elite 1.0 is kaput.
Hence the CPU fans, SilverStone Hydrogon D120 ARGB , are connecting to the CPU_OPT header, next to the CPU_Fan header.

The question, is it safe?

Edit:
With this situation, am I able to upgrade the CPU to a Ryzen 9 5900X (tight budget, hence the postpone),

or,

build a new PC instead?

Should I go for AMD Ryzen 9 5950X or Ryzen 5900 to replace the Ryzen 5 3600X, and expect huge improvement in video and photo editing work?
