Have you called your ISP's helpline?:
Yes, called tm net help line. Useless

Personal equipment
Modem: Tmnet billion ADSL2+
Router: Nil
Firewall used: window xp default

Problem details
First occurence of problem: 20 jun
Problem frequency: all the time cannot connect at all, even one time.
Problem description:

Last week streamyx technician come to my house and setup the streamyx line.
After installing he said one or two more days i can use it.
The PPP light wasnt on so cannot connect to streamyx yet.
He said the reason is because MAYBE tmnet got problem at that time.

After a few days, still cannot connect. I called him and he said give it a fewmore days.
After a few more days, still cannot connect, i called tmnet help line.
i complain my problem, they say it is not thier problem and it is between me and the technician.
And today i called the tenhnician again. He said he will call me back later. Guess what, he did not call.

So anyone can help me? I cant connect to streamyx. Error 678 come out and the PPP light is off.
I already try connecting the modem directly to the phone line, change to other modem and cables.
PWR, SYS, LAN and ADSL light is on

Can i Use "better" RAM for an old motherboard?
Like using DDRII 667 on a motherbord that support DDR400 and below.
