Harddisk Recovery

Good day / Salam sejahtera.

I own an external WD MyBook, dibeli hampir 3 tahun lepas. Since a month ago, i noticed some decreased performance of my external harddisk. The error "delayed system write" occurred, and often my laptop can't detect the harddisk. Somehow by changing the position of the harddisk it still can be accessed. My mistake was i neglected to backup it while it's still accessible, thinking that my harddisk just "buat perangai" and still okay.

Until this morning, i found out that it was giving this strange sound, whirring n clicking, when i plugged it. after 30-40 seconds whirring, it came to a complete stop (no sound at all), leaving it undetectable by my laptop. Somehow i believe it's already physically damaged (due to the sound). "

Here's some information:

Western Digital External Harddisk (MyBook) 7200rpm
Total capacity = 500GB
Interface = FireWire 400 & USB 2.0 (but i only use usb)
Partitioned - 9 partitions.

So i was looking for any data recovery service around KL/Penang. I'm not planning to recover all 500GB of data, but i need to recover one partition sized around 10GB which contains my photo n pictures. It's really valuable for me, as i'm studying here in russia and it contains my picture here.

Therefore, i would like to ask, how much is it gonna cost me and is there any shop/service center in KL/Penang which can do it. I'm planning to recover it during my summer holiday, this july/august. Thank you fellow LYN forumers, your help is kindly appreciated.
