Hi,

I'm looking for alternatives/equivalent for Xiaomi Pad 7 stylus pen that support magnetic charging and palm rejection. Is there such alternatives/OEM stylus pen available that's compatible with Xiaomi Pad 7 tablet?

May I know anyone used klinik kesihatan KKM services before for those below age 60? Do they provide medication (even generic medication) for hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes etc or just give medication for normal sickness like cough, fever etc?

If I refer to this link, seems like only have health screening for below 60.

If over 60, I think medication is covered.

Pay parking fee using Paywave

Assume that you go to shopping center and use your credit card to tap Paywave when going into shopping center parking lot, then you use the same card for payment for goods. When you go out from parking lot, will the parking system still recognize the same card/payment go through even though multiple charges have been charged to the card?

Haven't used such payment method before for parking lot

How to cost optimize my Maxis plan?

Currently on Maxis Postpaid 128 (140gb data pool) with 2 supp lines. I'm a medium data users (maybe 50gb a month) while the 1st supp line is light data user (less than 30gb) and 2nd supp line is super heavy data user. (80gb data).

Been thinking of saving cost by switching to Hotlink postpaid. What would be the best suggestions in terms of Hotlink postpaid plans? I prefer postpaid than thinking of reloading for prepaid

With regards to roaming, is Hotlink postpad roaming as wide coverage as Maxis Postpaid?

PS: prefer to stick with Maxis than switching to other Telco

White car maintenance

I'm kind of guy that's left to wash & wax car frequently but am getting a white car soon due to some specific reason. What's the preferred option to ensure at least have very minimal/no watermark/black streaks/tar on white car?

I can think of following ways:

1. Send to outside car wash company weekly: this is going to cost say 20 per wash. Yearly car wash cost is 1040. Top it up wax every 3 months, say 150 per wax. Yearly wax cost is 600. So total wash & wax cost is 1640. Over 5 years the cost will be 8200.

2. Send for ceramic/coating with 5 years warranty and yearly maintenance: this is probably going to cost 4-5k I guess (could be wrong). Add on 5 years wash cost as calculated above: 1040x5 = 5200. Over 5 years total cost will be 10,200.

Does this mean weekly wash & quarterly wax will be more cost effective? Is my calculation/logic correct or making the wrong assumptions/understanding?

PS: I can accept that over time, dent/scratches/chip will appear on the car regardless of what we do to maintain the car

I know Portfolio Visualizer can do it but not for Malaysian unit trust funds. FSMOne do provide Portfolio Simulator but cannot compare unit trust portfolio against ETF

Anyone worked with Wistron Klang before? How's the salary level, benefits and working culture inside the company? My perception of Taiwanese company can be sum up with one word: chinaman. Not sure whether this is the case with Wistron Klang.

Had a look at the reviews in Jobstreet but seems suspicious to me as almost all the 4 to 5 stars reviews only happened in certain months of a year such as Aug & Sep 2020 and Jul - Sep 2022. probably HR that are posting as a fake users to get good reviews.

Roborock error 8

I've been Roborock S5 for a few years. Recently this robot is giving me error 8 saying the robot is stuck due to obstacles but in actuality there's no obstacles at all. Also the robot is running around in haywire and not according to straight lines as it used to be. This problem seems to happen in mop mode only and not vacuum mode.

Anyone using Roborock robots having such error before? How to resolve this error? Quick search on the net saying that it's the wheel that's losing traction causing the robot to think it's stuck.

Most countries require pre departure Covid test 48-72hrs before flight. Supposedly your family is traveling oversea for holiday but one of the family member tested positive while the rest is negative, what would you do as it might be too late to change flight ticket/hotel booking/tour etc.?
