Uneven marble flooring

Hi,
Recently I have engaged a marble flooring contractor but the outcome is not good.
The floor is uneven.
Please find the attached image below.
I can understand the level can be off a bit but I can't really accept it to be off that much.
Is that any way to rectify the problem?
Doubt grinding can help in this case.

Note: The marble flooring contractor is also getting business from lowyat forum.

Rising Damp Issues?

Hi all the sifu-s,

I have recently bought a subsale house (about 15 years old) and just noticed something is wrong on the external wall.
There is a clear faded line along the external wall (as shown in the red box).
Those spots are a bit soft and damp.
I can easily peef off the plaster.

I read something online about rising damp.
Is this rising damp or because of some other reasons?

I think there is no concealed piping at the external wall.
The only explanation i can think of is the underground water.

hi everyone,

Come and give some comments. Here is my situation. I went to a college last few days to fetch my friend. For the college, we need to pay RM1 as parking fee. However, that day i just bring my friend to collect some stuffs from her hostel. While I pass through the guard house, there is one car in front of me. That time the guard swinging his hand and asking the car to pass the "palang". But, until my turn, I saw his hand still swinging, means?is it I can pass as well? As I came there quite often last few weeks so I tot that they can recognise me. And, everytime if I came in the college for short period of time, they wont charge me for the parking fee. At the end, after the car in front of me, I saw the guard's hand still swinging and I just pass through it. SUddenly , the palang hit my car.....WHose fault in this situation? they claimed that I should stop for checking. But I saw his hand swinging and meaning tat as me to go.... I jsut follow the instruction.ANd I tot the palang is controlled manually?means they can open by clicking on the button?right?they claimed that they are using the automatic palang or stuff like that.I think they can control it manually as well....maybe the guard is not really pay attention to his job.if the guard really pay attention,then he should noticed that I pass through edi...Is it I can ask them to pay for the repair fee?My car get scratched....After my car get hit by the palang,I stop at the roadside.THe guards came and ask for my IC...for report.and the way they talk is "U should stop for checking".ANd I said I saw ur hand swinging. If they really doing the good job,they shud ask me to stop woth proper hand signal...not keep on swinging and when something happened, blame me for tat.

I think I shouldn't be blamed for this case. I jsut follow the his hand signal...that's the mot important. the last second I saw his hand swinging is right beside of my car...that's why I just go through....

Any comment for this case?

hi, is it normal for myvi under these situation?

(1) air-con blowing air which is not cold at all when idle and under the hot sun
(2) when i start my car, i can hear that "dit-dot" "dit-dot" sound from the engine. but when the car is "heated up" edi then can't hear the sound
(3) when i start my car and on the air-con, the car is a bit shaking/vibrating.this situation is happened when i on the air con. but when the car is "heated up" edi then ok a bit
(4) the air con kick in sound is quite loud. after i send to refill the air con gas.

and my myvi not even one year but had accident before....any comment?might caused by impact of the accident rite? but then those problems is caused by which part?

"phi" sound at high speed

hi,

anyone has this problem b4? at low speed, the car is still ok. but then there's a "phi" sound at high speed, 80km/h and above. and one more thing, recently i realised my car rite...around 80++km/h, i press the oil pedal and wan to accelerate, the car didn't accelerate and remain constant speed.i nid to press a lot then only the rpm will increase, is it relate to the "phi" sound for this problem?

hi, anyone know how to check whether the air bag is genuine or not? I just had an accident last month and I suspect the workshop didn't put in the genuine air bad as the air bag is not fit in to the dashboard completely.

I had an accident last month. i m driving myvi that time and I went on top of the divider. after that I send to workshop to repair edi.after repair, the car start to vibrate when idling and on air-con. I send back to check but they said can't check anything. My car is under insurance so better i fix it all properly and can claim insurance. Thought of send to service center and check.not really confident with the workshop.at first i get back my car, they not even replace the bearing. anyone know about the cause of the vibration? I know might be engine mounting and fan blower. but they check edi said ok. anything to do with the gearbox? didn't affect the engine rite? I think the accident not very serious and the air bags deployed as it hits the air bag sensor. any comment?thx.

Erm...what you would do if u encounter this kind of supervisor?

1st - temporary staff does not deserve for a break (my supervisor said about this when my fren is having a break and chit chat v fren)
2nd - temporary staff don't need to know more about the company stuff (my supervisor told me this when I ask my collegue about company stuff)
3rd - during office hour, we can't chit chat among others, not even 5 mins. (my supervisor warns me and said might terminate me if I talk to my collegue AGAIN)
