<title>Working in the US on H-1B - how long did your gree</title>
            <link>http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/5582203</link>
<description>Hi all, recently got an offer for a tech role in the US on H-1B. HR says they will only kick off the green card process (PERM) after I have been in for a while. For those who have been through it, how long did the PERM and I-140 wait really take, and is it normal for employers to drag their feet like that? Curious if anyone here went the self-petition route instead. Thanks&amp;#33;</description>
