I recently sub to express vpn and there seem to me a method to config the VPN onto the my time broadband routher AC1200, it is said i need to first change the PPPoE to L2TP protocol and proceed with setup but my internet itself will die, because this routher is connected directly to the modem. Any advise on what am i doing wrong? sorry long story

HI guys, im not sure how to advise my friend here, he told me he added this account on telegram which was selling some recreational packages , long story short after he transferred money into seller bank account the first time, the seller apologized to my friend for misqouating him and asked for balance to which my friend just transfered but after that the seller macam tak layan anymore.

suspecting some a miss, my friend already lodged a report to his bank for investigation and possible reversal, but his bank also asked that he might need to facilitate a police report. I kept telling my friend he was foolish to begin with

anyway any ideas from the sifu's here? any experiences of this kind you guys got involved in by mistake?

WD Hard Disk issue

Hi guys,

my old WD green lable HDD KO(bad sector) so had to buy a new 2TB WD blue lable HDD, i used AOMEI software to clone my drives and seriously i took forever

i have drives 1 for Games and stuff, 1 for the rest

manage to clone game drive successfully which took almost a damn month

next is the other drive, due to its larger data it was taking almost more the a month to clone, sadly i believe the bad sector could be here not sure, anyway after a month or so suddenly the PC rebooted and my new 3 month old WD blue HDD makes a noise, its like disk crapping sound (like the car disk break sometimes got this weird metal grinding sound) that sound.

NOW, the blue WD HDD i know for sure if messed up because when boot into windows it will hit blue screen after sometime if heavy usage (like gaming and stuff)

so guys is my luck that bad ah 3 month old HDD can spoil just like that? any help and advise will be great as to what should i do

FYI:
PC is super old already, MSI core 2 duo , MOBO is DG41TY model
4GB RAM

Issue with "Desktop" Wireless connection

Hi guys,

Long story short, moved into new condo, a duplex, unifi modem+router had to be installed at the bottom floor due to the phone line is only available there, wireless connection bottom floor all good, the wireless for top floor suffers, recently got a TP-Link wireless N USB adapter to make my desktop wireless because i cant be pulling a LOOONG RJ45 cable from the shitty unifi router to my desktop, the signal is so crap, experiencing package loss as well. BUT when i use my phone as a hotspot and connect my desktop, the speed is power meaning nothing wrong with USB adapter.....so i guess my question is, can anyone suggest me what to do here?

1. Either a buy a new router and hope the signal is good enough to reach top floor
2. Buy a signal booster

on a tight budget so i dont want to waste any cash experimenting, hence why asking the sifu's here, hope you guys can help

First of all sorry to all my muslim buddies, i have to tanya this question

So i went to have a super late lunch(working at home today) near by my place theres a shop lot, got 1 sorta new chicken rice shop open (in between 2 hawker stalls at each end) called singapore chicken rice, i felt kesian today cause that shop always kosong, so i went to investigate why, ordered up some chicken + roast pork combo, came up to rm7.50 (i was like ok ) but it tasted really good!, so i tambah nasi la, that 1 bowl (large size) was rm 1.80 (ive never paid that much before so total came up to RM9.90( chinese tea RM0.60).....was wondering the tambah nasi seemed abit pricey though ....maybe thats why empty?

thoughts?

first of all i would like to apologize if this topic is not suppose to be opened here, just that im at my widths end and i tried searching the forum couldnt really find my answer

to the point: I live in a double story house in subang, currently on unifi 10mbps speed, my family complains downstairs signal is crap, after troubleshooting the "toy" wireless router that comes with unifi, i came to the conclusion it is crap not the speed, went to digital mall and was recommended ASUS RT-N12HP, rm190 best price, as a cheapskate i would like to ask, is there any cheaper wireless router but almost same quality as RT-N12HP? feedback highly appreciated

again if this is not the correct place, please redirect me and i will close the thread, sorry guys just abit desperate here

Hi guys, first i would like to apologize if this topic has been done before, and you can by all means flame me as well, but im currently desperate here so i need some help.

my current setup is as such, i have the billion steamx modem hooked up to my D-Link DIR 300 model( this acts as wireless for my laptop),I have a desktop which is hooked up to 1 of the ports of the router with a LAN cable, now what i don't understand is for the past 1 month, my desktop and also my laptop both are having problems streaming videos from youtube, sometimes im having to refresh the page 5-6 times to get it to load, and when it does, its slow. I have a 4meg connection with streamyx, when i do speed test my net speed clocks at 3.4 mg which is awesome, but Youtube fails horribly to load, my desktop is currently using Windows 7 ultimate and my laptop is using windows Vista Home prem. I havent had a chance to try a direct connection yet though, and i have already lodged a complain to streamx and they find my line is fine. Any ideas? thank you so much for the help and im am realy sorry again to post this, im desperate

HELP: Notebook power issues, more details inside

Hey guys, need some help here, i have a HP Pavillion DV6000 notebook, the power socket where you plug in the adaptor cable might be spoilt, initially i thought it was the adaptor, i burn RM70 to buy a new 1 , it was working for a few weeks but the problem happen again, sometimes i can goyang-goyang the adaptor wire near the socket and the blue light (indicating the power is on and laptop is charging) comes on, but since last week , no lights, i shake,unplug/replug same nothing, i honestly think its the power socket in the laptop itself

i .any suggestion on klang valley or else where i can get it fixed
ii. if it is power socket, will it cost a bomb to fix it? i.e might as well just but a new laptop
