Built agent to watch news on my own KLSE holdings

Been lurking here for a while. Sharing something I built for myself over a few
weekends - not selling anything, no website, nothing to sign up for. I mainly
want to know whether the idea is useful or whether I just wasted the time.

The problem

I hold 6 counters across solar, construction and healthcare. I kept finding out
about announcements late - usually from a thread here rather than from the news
itself. Checking i3, KLSE Screener and The Edge every day is a chore, and I
still missed things.

What I built

An agent that polls news sources and Bursa announcements every 30 minutes during
trading hours. It only messages via Wechat/Feishu/Telegram me when a headline actually names one of my
holdings. If nothing relevant happens, it sends nothing at all.

That last part turned out to matter more than I expected. Most alert tools send
you a daily summary whether or not anything happened, and you end up muting them
after two weeks.

It read around 190 headlines to produce those three. The rest was real news,
just nothing to do with what I own.

What I'm actually asking

Do you track your own counters manually, or do you already have a system?
If you'd use something like this, what is the above missing? I'm considering
ex-dividend dates, director share transactions, and quarterly result reminders.
Is "stays silent when nothing happens" actually valuable to you, or would you
rather get a daily summary regardless?
