Safe to buy CPAP machine online?

Hi all, I was recently diagnosed with sleep apnea (I have my sleep study report and AHI numbers ready), but clinics in KL are quoting RM5k++ per unit. I noticed brands like BMC and Topson on Shopee/Lazada going for ~RM1.5k or even cheaper, which is much more in my price range, but I'm concerned about any possible risks. This is why I’m looking for Auto-CPAP (APAP) units to reduce the hassle of manual pressure setting, but still wanted to ask to be sure:

1. Has anyone bought a CPAP machine online? How did you handle warranty, mask sizing without physical fitting, and initial pressure setup? Do budget brands (like BMC and Topson) record detailed data on the SD card for tracking?

2. If buying online isn't recommended, what are the best affordable alternatives in Klang Valley? Are there local dealers offering refurbished or other budget units? Paying 100% out of pocket (don't qualify for any assistance).

Thanks for any advice!
