Should I become Lorry driver?

I studied a useless non stem degree long time ago. Then worked in back office finance dept for a few years and then jumped to do software implementation and support, then moved to software qa.

In hindsight, none of my experience was technical. Even the software qa role was manual testing.

All are SME roles, no MNC experience. Pay was in range of RM2 - 5k+ throughout this time. My fault, I feel through the cracks. I guess I really believed in staying long term instead of constantly jumping. Believed the "we are family" rhetoric, about taking ownership, a break was just around the corner, got equity, bonus, etc.

I was laid off from the software qa role due to downsizing earlier this year and have not been able to find a role since. Have apply to related roles, got some interviews, but no offers. My feeling is that I may be too old, my experience is not technical enough and too much competition.

Recently, I contacted a previous SME employer and got verbal offer. RM4k+ base, 5 day work week 9 to 6, half day Saturdays, 11 public holidays. No other tangible benefits. Intangible got the usual talk of becoming a part of core team of leaders.

I also speak to relative, he offer to become lorry driver RM5k base + commission usually up to RM7k+. 8am - 4pm. Need to drive, loading and unloading with assistant.

At this point, I'm just my white collar career is long dead. Maybe I should take the lorry role where no need to think so much, stop work at 4pm and can stack the extra cash for old age. Maybe that is the better option than.

What does everyone else think? If in my position, would you go back to office 9-6 role? or become lorry driver?

How is the Benelli 150s?

I'm looking for a secondhand 150cc bike for daily commute and also to practice clutch bikes. My first choice was the Yamaha FZ 150i, but at one shop they suggested a 2022 Benelli 150s for RM2.5k.

Anyone using this or have experience with this bike?

Questions:

1. Are Chinese bikes good?
2. How is the reliability?
3. Is service and maintenance cheap?
4. Are spare parts plentify?
5. Can most workshops service and repair this bike? or do I need to go back to MForce center?

Thank you
