Air Selangor payment problem

Use to always pay at tm counter, they display amount own every month. Since last month tm kept saying server down, then later found out they no longer support payment trough tm.

7/11 ask for barcode specific to air Selangor and won't be able to scan tm base barcode. So I decide to pay with ewallet. Key in ACC paid, but no acc owner name and no info of how much more I owe. Try to check trough their website can't even register my acc. Their air Selangor app is even worst. I can't even scroll trough their app cause it kept crashing.

So, basically the service has revert to stone age where I throw what I think I owe into endless well and pray my payment is received.

Anyone know what other option I can check my balance? And where can I file a complain against this at the higher ups that could do something about it?

Anyone here receiving TV box from unifi w/o request or any sort?

Today I get a package from TM when take off outer package its a Unifi TV box. I got confused cause I didn't order nor request for it.

Went online check its some new package bullshit that would charge extra RM20 every month on the bill. I did not request for it, and from the description it seems that along with this box it will renew the contract by two years + RM20 every month on my internet bill. I straight email to ask but no reply yet.

Anyone else got this? Its super scummy if that is how they try to force no contract users to be automatically sign for another 2 years. Not only show they desperate but also this shouldn't be legal if that is the tactic they are using.

I receive a call few days back claiming that my parents owe debt to their bank, while parents did owe bank but they always have been paying on time and the acc has been service for almost 40 years, more over the amount mention does not match my parent's bank debt amount at all, so we just tell her that we will verify and settle the issue on monday. Out of the blue today (sunday) this so call "bank officer" came right to our door step and mumble something about serving us a red notice of sorts and demand to sign some papers to solve the issue, my parents wasn't at home so I ask a bunch of question and such. The moment the agent heard I mention about "verifying to ensure not a scammer" agent started to flip out, saying things like not a scammer with a raise voice and dare me to call the police and such, but before I press the phone button she tone down and say the issue can be settle by paying half of the owe debt.

Agent give a debt number that does not make sense at all to the lines of either 5k or 10k settlement. I just scoff off the threat of freezing bank account and sending police to stick red notice to the house etc. Agent even dare me to go HQ and ask for the name. After agent left, I check out the name and it was no where to be found on the internet, as you know usually if its a professional of sorts you would have name in linkidin and such. So I went to the guard house and ask for car plate number and registered name, different from what the agent provide. check the different name and again no information, search on the so call "HQ" number the agent give does not show up as any bank number at all. Tried to call the official number from the bank page and it was not answered (of course it doesn't , cause the bank page stated monday to friday 9am - 6pm).

So I'm pretty convince that this is a scam, parents are going to bank to verify this on monday, but with the information I have now and potentially CCTV footage of the scammer should I make a police report? would they do something about it? I'm presuming whatever information coming from this agent is fake so far and police most likely won't be able to do much except maybe checking up on car plate number.

Start to pressure you with either a threat or make you feel anxious by emphasizing on what you are going to loose if you don't settle today.

Lay out the condition of settling by paying half of the debt amount (which is also not correct)

Tell you to stop arguing when all you did is to question their precedure that does not make sense.

Give you a house number to call "hq" instead of HQ hotline.

So, the thing I'm really worry about is .... if the agent is scammer the balls is surely massive to take that kind of action (coming to my door step) to attempt to "settle" the debt, which also means now that they already have a basic profile of my parent's number name and address I fear if this people come up with new scheme to keep targeting my family we will not see the end of this incident.

And if this really is an officer from bank ..... WTF why bank hiring scammer like officer that make every wrong move in the book that their own policy emphasize not to do? Their web page literally says if there is any issue please contact HQ or known branch. Why would an officer come to your house and give you an option to either settle the issue or face consequences? Mind you on sunday ..... when we say we are going to verify on monday agent is giving mumbling threat like "its gonna be usless on monday cause they will follow the procedure to freeze my parents account and there is nothing we can do about it etc" .... she also claim that if its settle today she can stall the process ..... like rly? can bank officer do that?

After a not succesful attempt the agent left, back tracking everything related to the agent turn up empty (I'm an IT freelance data tracker so if you are legit you should be showing up after some digging) .... fact that there is nothing means high chance whatever the agent just feed us are build up.

Anyone face or heard about this kind of incident before? Its kind of a scary encounter cause they come up to your house personally...

I wanna get a keyboard and mouse budget about rm100 for both. For gaming and work purposes. Mouse prefer to have more then 3 buttons.

My previous mouse is razor and keyboard is rosewell.. Reason why not just look for those brand.... Because it's gonna be used on the old com for a while until I move, by then the pc most likely donate and it's gonna be bad donating w/O mouse and keyboard. Can't be giving out faulty mouse and keyboard either.

Also does anyone know if there is something like a tech junkyard? Where most of the component comes from other ppls faulty throw away mouse and keyboard? I saw Japan got this kind of tech junkyard where people buy multiple same faulty item and Frankenstein them with usable components to build a non faulty... Pretty popular among game boy enthusiast. I'm just wondering if keyboard and mouse also got such thing.

Out of the blue I got disconnected from internet yesterday for almost a day. Try 100 it says service disruption. Contact them via easyfix they are diagnosing.

I swear every time this guy try to make something right everything goes wrong.

I'm on 100mbps sign up for a long time, my speed runs around 30mbps and I always complain that their advertisement of 100 isn't accurate and they are charging me 100mbps price for 30mbps, with all the back and forth going on fami drop the bomb and ask service provider to go lower and price 100mbps down to about RM49 - RM69 .....

So what TM do in response? They w/o permission claim they upgraded my package from 100mbps to 300mbps just to keep my monthly bill roughly the same. The problem is ....... THE GOD DMN SPEED NEVER CHANGE!!!

Its still roughly the same speed as 30mbps. They are using every possible way to keep people paying the current price instead of reducing the price for customers.

I don't download lots of stuff and so the upgrade makes no difference in reality ....... only on paper.

I try to get their customer support online and for some funny reason they made customer support WAY worst then what is used to be. So their service made everything possible to make fixing the issue seems incredibly frustrating in order to deter people from demanding the issue to be fixed.

I am seeking to directly address the core issue to fami in hopes that they can look into the rouse that is going on with dominating service provider in the country.

Like seriously if you heard the news gov gonna reduce 100mbps that means you should hook users that PAID for 100mbps down to the discount price ......NOT artificially hiking up my package and demand the same pay.

How to deal with antique collection?

I have recently come to the possession of dealing with a collection of antique from a person I know . As I have no experience in selling them in the past I'm currently in the process of researching how to deal with them effectively. Most of the collection is 4 to 5 digit numbers according to a book he kept as a record of all his collection, I try to talk with antique store in KL but most of their demand profit margin is crazy high and they don't deal with all of the collection.

So I am left with the option to either trying to sell trough platform like Carousell, Mudah.my, or Shopee, or open my own online antique shop, decorate, design then market them. I have seen Consignment Shops selling antique in australia and japan before, but I can't seem to find any that is doing the same thing here.

Anyone have experience you are willing to share how you deal with them? Or any suggestion / recommendation you are willing to wisdom an inexperience person like me? As for why the person himself aren't dealing with his own collection, well for one he is pretty old, and second he had no experience in sales and he knows nothing about computer. His only option is either trying to sell them to antique shop or open a roadside store which is not practical. And the return he gets is too low from his experience in the past, its kinda sad to see him trying to liquidate his collection and almost 75% removed from his sale price.

I am exploring custom miniature design and printing for a range of products. Most likely Facebook pick up on this and recently advertise a 3 day class for rm480++ on the subject manner. From digital tools to pre and post production, the process and finishing touch.

Since it came from the college clazroom the program seems legit. But my question is ... Is it worth it? Like the things they teach is it ready to start your small business after or it's more of a common knowledge that you can also just learn from the internet?

Anyone join such program before as a hobby or side income? Is there a market for custom miniature?

I'm planning to start with just design and look for shop to print then only decide if this would grow base off how positive the market reaction is.

What is your take and advice?

My xiaomi 1st gen dying, no more update support, battery drain too fast.

Since I'm gonna get a new phone, there is a blast of everyone saying almost every in range brand with all the good and almost no weakness phone, well, my phone lasted almost a decade+ at the price of RM800 back then .... so I'm expecting my new phone to sort of match up as long as it coulld.

My requirement quite simple, since I'll be venturing into video production as a hobby I intend to record and edit video for my upcoming channel. So I need a phone that can record few hrs, fairly clear , long lasting battery for that purpose. would be nice if I can stream on twitch etc. able to keep updating ni issue syncing with PC. Don't really need it to be a powerful gaming device since its more of a working tool then a gaming tool so I won't be doing anything graphic heavy.

I am fine with any brand as long as it has a good reputation of being budget solid. Good enough space for video storage so I can work with my editing. If the hobby grows maybe in the future may consider upgrade ...... but at this point I'm just experimenting, So I'm not going for all too crazy gadget spec with no return.

Budget is RM800 - RM1000 +- ...... suggestion not restricted to the range but anything above RM1200 priority will be very low for the above reason. Help a potential youtuber out here .... your opinion might shape a new venture.

Problem with HDD on windows 10

Hi guys, I have just updated from win 7 to win 10 on my computer problem I face now is some of my old hdd drive plug in doesn't show up, I've look into disk management and there is an unknown disk 1 show up, but no option to create new simple volume.

It goes the same with my old cd/dvd rom, but when I plug in external HDD it works just fine, so why can't the normal hdd fixed inside pc not able to detect or function? I have check and make sure the port is available. The repair shop did help me install one of my old HDD but that one I've totally formated, the com is running on SSD now. I was hopping I could just plug and play like the old BIOS as this older HDD have information that I cannot delete. and I also have a few other older HDD laying around, how am I gonna convert or extract those information out if win 10 is so troublesome ?

Maxis giving a free phone for bro but he already have one so he is giving me the phone, idk what phone is available but I presume prob not the latest .... maybe something mid range.

My current requirement is ......

-prefer work with andriod cause all my work related and virtual acc all in andriod

- decent camera maybe for pod casting ? I'm kinda venturing into media industry so hoping for a phone that can kinda use for youtube upload , twitch .... streaming capability.

- can use and download fairly recent IOS stuff, cause old phone facing problem download updated app from recent times.

Yesterday com is acting up with lag spikes and screen hang, so I thought it was time to clean the com ...... since its been few years ..... open up the case , remove GPU, unclog most of the dust then put em back ....... then GPU fan start blowing hard and when I fire up world of tanks or warhammer 3 (any graphic intense game) ... it starts out fine, then lag, then freeze and it goes black screen while still able to hear the game sound is running. Turn off com, took apart GTX 970 Turbo (warranty long void liao) ..... deep clean with pinch and isopropyl alchol .... then a few piece of harden thermal paste drop so I pick open and realize its totally brittle ..... next day buy gel , clean both end then re apply (covered the chip with appropriate amount) put em back, pop it into place then fire up com.

Sound and heat significanty back to normal, a bit more silent ... fire up world of tanks, play smooth for a while, then game act up again, starts lagging, then crash. Same with other high performance game like warhammer 3. Went in can reach battle, fight halfway freeze then crash. But in all case now it doesn't black screen my monitor, just game crash. The card sound ramp up when start game, which is what I normally hear, not particularly loud. Just that now any graphic intensive game I turn on the game will crash. Other then that everything else works fine.

Highly suspect its card problem but at this point idk how to proceed, bring for service will most likely gonna change a lot of things which at this point is kinda tight. And I need to be in working order atm so I can't really afford laying off. Not really sure randomly upgrading stuff will cause more problem or not ..... (due to bad experience in the past).

Com didn't really give me any problem for almost 7++ years with minimal maintenance.

I'm not certain on what can I change to keep the com in game and work mode, right now its prob on work only condition, changing a new com gonna be kinda costly, upgrading certain part might not solve the problem.

If I send to shop for quick diagnosis and they say is GPU problem what card in the current market that could play graphic intense game ok? I don't need everything to be ultra I just need it to be working ok .... until I get my big bonus which is kinda long way to reach atm.

Guys, recently as I have find out that our parking ticket blood suckers has converted parking ticket to exclusively digital only. I usually park on private property so rarely interact with public space, recently my uncle came down to shah alam and get confused cause all this while he use coupon, now force digital and given his age this is one big headache.

Since I don't really need to pay ticket most of the time now I my self also no clue what am I suppose to do.

Given this day and age too many con man out there kept asking you to dl this app dl that app and put in your bank acc info bla bla bla ....... and seeing news about so many people loose their saving because of this idk why this crow packers still want citizen to dl app like its a trend of some sort. But for the sake of helping my uncle out I still have to ask

1. Are the god dmn @#%* apps unified or its the same dumb shit like parking ticket different zone different app?

2. Can it be paid without linking bank info?

3. Do I need to register with name , phone and email ?

4. Can the ticket app pay for multiple car? Or only the registered owner and 1 car plate?

5. Does the stupid app demand a more "advance" phone to use? Like can a Xiaomi 1 model use the app w/o issue?

6. How to pay if using prepaid card? Need to find wifi area to pay? Or pay from home to destination? Or every time go out parking need to pay extra RM1 just to activate internet to pay the stupid ticket?

7. Can those enforcer cheat by giving you the ticket anyway and delete your payment entry?

8. Is the app secure/safe? (This question may sound dumb, but living here you know apps from "public service" is made by half + 6 kids who barely code given they either pay for non qualified programmer a large sum for a garbage app, or pay peanut for programming genius to care too little about a solid secure service)

9. Please tell me there is no expiry date on this shit.

10. Any other option if don't want to use app?

This bunch of so hai think its cool to everything go app, sooner or later all their service is going to hog phone memory and power so much that most of the older phone can't even function properly with their @#$^ app.

When pendemic happen I stopped visiting mall. That time e-curve was under renewal and the curve is still buzzing even though it seems like not able to keep up against 1u.

Fast forward 2 years + later after we lift restrictions during Raya I decide to visit the place. I was expecting maybe a little run down but still would be an ok mall.

Holy crist the place is so dead there is barely anything left worth visit. Almost all the food stall closed. E-curve sealed. No decoration, no event. Everything bare minimum and even if some stall still operate their inventory shrunk so bad it's worst then 2 years before.

Wth happened to the mall? I use to categorize mall for survey purpose and this was one of the A+ mall before the pendemic. Now this look so bad under its almost down to a F class mall.

Very sad and shocked. Anyone live nearby and often visit can shed some light on what happened?

He travel mon - fri to SG office, get SG pay ... his tax need to pay to SG and MY ? I heard we got sign DTA with SG but since never work in SG before so I'm not sure how the tax work if you are a malaysian working for SG. Anyone here work travel to SG ? What are the tax rules? ..... salary is about 5 - 6k sgd range.

2nd question, I"m starting to get orders from SG client on certain product, if I am selling them to SG how does the business tax work? is it the same as my friend or I pay in different tax terms?

Is there a difference between selling it here in jb and they buy then cross over or set up shop there to sell / direct mail to them? What are my tax options?
