It's a point system all in one family hub. Got kids play area, function room. Business lounge, gym etc. I went there for the kids playground.

Everything inside is paid for using points.

The only way to get points is to buy their insurance. If you insure everything liao, buy their savings plan.

They are sunlife. Using family hub as value add. This is basically Hong Kong style way of selling insurance. I must say it's very interesting.

But I kinda dont like that they force you to buy insurance to use their facilities. I prefer pay per use because I have flexibility. But if you so happen to need insurance, buy from them, then can get all these extra perks. Beats competing over plan benefits only.

Let's assume that someone reach 55. His EPF cukup haul now. He has 5mil EPF, it will immediately be taxed 2.5% at full amount?

After that, every year it will tax 2.5% on the whole balance? Or do they only tax 2.5% on the income earned?

CoZ if 2.5% on total... this is like an inflation drag. If inflation is 3%, and you only earn 6% from your investments, then your total untung from investing is 6%-3%-2.5% = 0.5%.

If your investments don't at least earn 5.5% a year, your money is just eroding. That sound a crazy to me...

My wife saw and she was so entertained. She say better than military parade. And it promotes a healthy image. If it gets more people interested in healthy bodies, even better.

My degree is in engineering. But I've since pivoted into something related to finance/econs.

Should I go into a masters degree? Will it help climb the ladder or get better jobs in that field?

Or is it regardless if you got master or not you still kena hantam as kuli. Even if you ahve a few years under your belt?

I heard finance sector don't care and very lansi one. You got phd also they treat you like junior kuli.
