Find a dentist who prioritizes preserving your natural teeth whenever possible, not just doing the fastest procedure.

What “tooth-saving dentistry” looks like

A quality dentist usually:

Tries filling / bonding / minimal intervention first
Explains all options (including conservative ones)
Uses root canal only when truly necessary
Considers long-term tooth survival, not just immediate fixes
Refers to specialists when needed instead of rushing extraction

Red flags (be cautious)
Immediately suggesting extraction without explaining alternatives
No discussion of preserving the tooth
Very short consultation, no imaging explanation
Pressure to “decide now”
One-size-fits-all treatment plans

I went to a dentist who brought out all his equipments to drill my teeth before. I was like "what you doing?" He is like "root canal". i was like "no"

Went to another dentist and she was like no need to drill

LifeProTip for surviving humid Malaysian weather

I recently discovered this by accident. Even with the aircond on, I was still feeling warm and uncomfortable at night.

What helped surprisingly well:

Put ice into 2 ziplock bags
Wrap them lightly if needed
Hold/place them near your body while resting or sleeping
Put it behind the neck or lower back
In between ur hands

It cooled my body temperature down significantly and made the heat much more bearable.

Cheap, simple, and oddly effective for humid nights in Malaysia.
