What future lies for subsales home

I’ve lived in Subang for 30 years, and many of the landed properties in Subang, Sunway, USJ, and the surrounding areas are now around 30+- years old!
These homes have appreciated significantly in value and continues to do so, but what will happen to them in the next 15–20 years?

Most current owners are aging, and many of their children will likely move out to build their own families.
These are high-value units, which means buyers need substantial capital—around 18% upfront—plus refurbishment costs that can easily reach RM150k–RM200k.

Take me as an example,
I wanted to buy a sub-sale near my parent house for my own family since one of my neighbor is selling.
But the upfront cost is simply too high for me to afford it... RM150k to own it, and maybe another RM150k just to keep it up to shape minimum... RM300k cash...

Many of my neighbor aunty uncle are all still around healthy, doing Yoga and always see them singing, but i can say 90% of their kids are no longer around as I've known them all my life... one recently moved to Australia permanently to be with their children that's why wanting to sell... but unfortunately the price really... perghhhhhhh
