Physical Characteristics
Clyde is the biggest of all sea lions at the Minnesota Zoo, and weighs over 700 pounds.[1][2] He eats about 25 pounds of food every day.[3]

He has the numbers "C 023" on his back, which were added by wildlife officials after he was caught eating endangered salmon at the Bonneville Dam in Oregon.[1][2]

Personality
Clyde is laid back and easy going. Clyde also seems to be a bit shy as he is "not very interactive with enrichment currently, and he is hesitant to perform behaviors with trainers as they work to build his trust."[2] He is a very hungry boy as previously stated, but he is also very determined. He would swim 146 miles (234 km) from home to get to the Columbia river, which is home to 4 critically endangered species of salmon and heavily guarded by multiple private and federal agencies. He found the only weakness: the Bonneville Dam, where every year fish jump up the dam's ladder to spawn. Clyde then found a window at the top of the dam to steal the salmon.[4]

History: Criminal activity

In 2010, Clyde broke into the river, snuck past security, made it up the dam and started eating a lot of salmon. But he was spotted. Security was deployed, surrounding Clyde, and knocked him out with a tranquilizer/sedatives. Then they had taken him 146 miles back up the coast back to where he had started. Clyde really liked the salmon, so he went back at least four times, each time eating a lot of salmon, being taken by security, and then taken back up the coast.[4]

Wildlife officials marked Clyde when he was found in the wild feeding on endangered salmon at the Bonneville Dam in Oregon. He was considered a "public nuisance" after several instances. To save the endangered salmon, Clyde was removed by wildlife managers and moved to an accredited zoo in New York City.[2] After that we can conclude that we was then sent to, his now home, the Minnesota zoo.

Clyde was taken by security and a judge sentenced him to go 1180 miles (1900 km) inland, to the Minnesota zoo. The Minnesota zoo is now his permanent home and can be visited when they are open, with the rest of the sea lions they have. (The other option was to put him down, which we are all thankful didn't happen and he was just moved to a different location.)[4]

He is not going to be released as he is to much of a danger for the salmon.

So, usually I go NSK Taman Sentosa to buy jiken to feed my dogs.
