Agricultural, animal or aquaculture?

Due to increasing demand of the agricultural sector, this field is bound to bring in big bucks in the near future. So I'm kinda positive that I will be studying in this field in university later. I'm just not very sure which type of agriculture will be more in demand in five years time.

I've set sights on three programmes in UPM, that are agricultural science (somewhat diverse in all fields but more towards crops and plants), animal science (focusing on land livestock) and aquaculture (focusing on seafood). I'd be extremely grateful if anyone in this field could answer my question.

Degree options relating to current issues?

So I've heard that the agriculture and food industrial sector is starting to boom due to food shortages around the world.

I am currently desperate on what should I pick for my UPU choices next January. Relating to the statement above, I would like to choose a degree option that would be well suited to land a job opportunity in the above scenario.

I've heard from several sources that to increase the amount and safety of food, fields such as food technology and genetic engineering are starting to become more demanded in the job market. This should probably be even more sought after in five years time (when I graduate).

So, I've narrowed down my options to a few degrees offered by several IPTAs. They are BSc in Biotechnology, BSc in Food Science and BSc in Food Technology.

I would like your honest and serious opinion on this because UPU application will be opening very soon. If you guys have any other majors that you think might be more suited to this scenario, feel free to make suggestions.

Thank you very much!

Asking for tips to excel in biochemistry

So, I'm currently a matriculation student in my first semester. I have been wanting to studying biochemistry since form 4. I've heard that biochemistry is difficult as hell. Is it true? I'm open to suggestions from graduated professionals or current students studying biochemistry (especially students from UM, UPM and UKM studying this major as they are the only unis that offer biochemistry) thank you very much.

I have a few questions about Matrikulasi

So I was lucky enough to get an offer for the matriculation programme in Kolej Matrikulasi Perak (KMPk). I have a few questions that I need to know. Hope any alumni or students of the programme can answer them.

1. What is the type of attire to be worn there? During lectures need to wear how formal? Is any collared shirt and jeans sufficient?
2. Is there a computer lab there for assignments or other stuff? If not, are there computers in the library? (There's only one computer in my home but I can't bring it)
3. Is there any type of racial bullying against other races there? (no offence my Malay friends)
4. What food is sold at the cafeteria at what price?
5. I'm in science stream but I don't know what module (it's not shown on the offer letter). How should I know?
6. How strong is the wifi? (Most important question XD)

What are the chances of getting into matrikulasi?

I'm well aware that the chances getting into matriks are brutal for non-bumi (which I am). So I kinda want to get some insight on this topic.
I got 10As in my trial exams and am expecting the same for my actual results. I have koko marks of 7.28 (very bad I know).
I would be really grateful if anyone who are studying or have studied matriks to share their spm results here.
Btw does financial factor really affect the chances of getting accepted cos I'm b40.
