Cybercafe in Subang/PJ with webcam

Hi all, can anyone tell me where in Subang or PJ has cybercafes with webcam? I have to do a typing assessment but they need to have a webcam. I can't use my phone because the website doesn't allow it.

Longest timeframe to complete an interview?

Hear me out ya; as most of you all know that I am currently jobless and I am looking for a job since January this year. Been sending out my resumes left and right. Now, I gotten an interview from the headhunter first, then the BPO company and then the client. All of those completed since 29th March-2023. After that, followed up with the BPO company on the progress for the following 2 weeks (once a week) but both times said client still interviewing people, no feedbacks yet. So okay, I wait. This is an executive level job. Then no news until 22nd April and the headhunter said still got 1 more interview with the client's ops manager but didn't exactly said when, had to wait for an update. Asked them how many interviews usually is there but no replies. Then on the 9th May, BPO asked me am I looking for a job, I was like, yes, I am but I am still waiting for a reply on when is the interview with the ops manager and I didn't get any answer from the last reply since then and I asked back what is the client's plan now? Then only told me will go ask the client for an update. WTF, the hell you guys have been doing?? I know there was raya holidays but you guys died ke?? I asked them how come no updates?? Then they replied I was KIV-ed by the client. I told them, okay, if got other jobs, let me know.

Here's the best part; yesterday(18th May), the BPO asked me if I am available today(19th) for the interview with the manager now. I told them go fuck yourself(not really, but I told them I am no longer interested to proceed). This one job took nearly 2 months for several interviews! It's only an exec level, not a managerial that needs plenty of interviews (which I understand if the role is more bigger and important). This is the first time where I had to wait for so long just for the interview only. If I proceed and I didn't get the job, I really wasted my time and I feel like the client and BPO doesn't take the whole process seriously enough.

What is the longest timeframe for interviews you have been through?

Companies/Employers need to stop lowballing us

I understand companies are businesses who are trying to earn money but lowballing employees or potential ones is not right. Everything is increasing but our salaries can't even catch up with the prices. Prices can increase up to 10% but our salaries increase barely 5%. Highest in my life was only 2.5% increament. Now with recession happening, all the companies here wanna hire experience workers but with peanuts salaries, hence they rather hire freshies with lower salaries but those also underpaid. Haiz...Malaysia employers really damn kiamsiap...

1. Dr Mahathir Mohamad has filed a RM150 million lawsuit against Anwar Ibrahim, claiming that the PM accused him of amassing wealth for himself while in power.

Mahathir is seeking RM50 million in general damages and RM100 million in exemplary damages.

2. He is also alleging that Anwar’s statements were made in his capacity as PM and are more devastating to him than statements made by ordinary citizens.

Chap fan too damn expensive nowadays

Went to a chap fan shop just now and on the dishes, there was a note that the price is calculated based on the volume of quantity and there was prices of the each dishes. My question is that how do you calculate based on volume? How you justify the pricing you are charging? Yeah, I take alot of meat, l get charged more but how you calculate? If I take mince meat, how do you calculate it? There is no weighing machine too, not like Tutti Frutti where they charge you by the weight, so I understand that there is a weighing machine. Can't eat mix rice nowadays...

Dear companies that wants to hire people, if you want to send a questionnaire first to the candidates before you decide to choose which one of them to interview, kindly ask RELEVANT questions, not idiotic questions like 'What kind of animal would you be and why?'. I don't give a eff if it is a personality test or whatsoever, but if you aren't going to ask proper questions relating to the job and you end up not even trying to interview the candidate just because they don't answer your stupid questions properly, then your company should just close down. You should interview them first then only decide if they are the perfect person for your company or not. We people who didn't even get an interview will feel wth, they didn't even speak to us and they are judging us all because of the questionnaire? Bangang gila

Complain to labour law office

I was retrenched recently and my previous company owed me some money (annual leave encashment, public holidays, etc). What happened was that they changed payment vendor in September 2022 and eversince they took over, they have been very problematic; salary paid a day later, incorrect amount etc, every month. So what happened was that I was supposed to be paid whatever I am owed on last Friday (27th) but because of the vendor screw up, they paid me with the incorrect amount and I complained to the HR that this is not right and the HR apologized and said will try to pay me in mid-February. I told them that this is not right and I am no longer with the company since end of December-2022 and I should be paid on January, not February. The vendor screwed my payment, why should I suffer the consequences? I still have bills to pay.

I contacted the labour law office and they said due to my salary is above RM2000, they can't assist me if I wanted to file a complain (like wtf?). So what can I do now if the useless labor office can't even help me in this matter?
