Which scanner to buy?

Hi, I am looking forward to buy a standalone scanner which can fulfill my requirements.
I need some suggestions what brand is good to buy. I lose touch. Some says Umax, Canon, Epson and HP.

My requirements are
1. scanner must able to support scanning books as thick as 1 inch
2. can convert paper format into ms word, scan-email-pdf
3. easy and userfriendly buttons.
4. reliable support incase anything goes wrong.

Which brand is famous for it's standlone scanner?

Hi, I need to know whether anyone come across this Wencom Net Service company?
Their address is P.O.Box 11920
50762 Kuala Lumpur

Their job is homebased and ask for RM85 for processing fee.
They claimed they provide parts to assemble electronic products.

By the way, is there a place online where I can check the company registration number?

To me this is a scam. Well, who knows it might not be.

Mooncake Boxes- Penang supplier,please

I am just wondering whether any member here know someone who can supply mooncake boxes?
I looking for paper type which can fit 4 pieces in a box and 2 pieces in another box.
Also looking for paper bags that can fit these boxes in.

My quantity is not many, probably 200-300 per type.

Preferably the company is based in Penang.

I am looking for digital voice recorder and so far olympus DVR DS-20 range onwards are the best.
Any ideas whether other model or brand is better?

I am looking forward to record conversation make for my freelance work as well as to record my ideas whenever it hits me on the road , at work or etc.

Its not cheap though.
If there's any dealer offer good price in Penang, please recommend.
