iPod Photo 'sad face'

Hey there.

I have an iPod photo, and I really really love it.
I don't want to upgrade to other iPods because they
can't run Rockbox. But anyway, a few days back my
iPod gave me the dreaded 'sad face' icon. Now it won't do
anything anymore. I opened the case to see if any ribbons]
were loose, but everything seems to be normal. It's not the
hard-drive because I can hear the disk spinning/reading.
What could be the problem? I hope I get to fix this because
I really love my iPod.

Which one to get? T-mobile G1 vs BB 8900

Hey guys,

I'm using a SE W610i, it's pretty banged up, scratches here are there, and the occasional 'INSERT SIM CARD' message. So Dad offered to get a new phone. I'm thorned between the T-Mobile G1 and the Blackberry 8900. I'm really loving the G1 cause of the Android OS, but Dad and sister(both BB users) telling me the 8900 is more worth it. What do you guys think? After I get a new phone, it will be long time before I get another one. Need help choosing one that I will love and won't want to change anytime soon. THANKS GUYS!
