[WTA] Unifi disconnection midnight

Since the past few days, i noticed my UNIFI internet will disconnect by itself 12am sharp midnight. I have been monitor it in the past few days and the connection uptime info can be retrieved from my DD-WRT.

Just wonder any of your guys has the same issue.

Wake On Lan on DIR-615

Does anyone managed to setup "Wake On Lan" service on the DIR-615 router which come with UNIFI?

From the LAN, i able to "WOL" my pc with another pc, but it failed with WAN

In the port forwarding page, i managed to setup to forward the port number "7" and "9" to "192.168.0.255", the WOL still seems not working.

Besides that, i found this link from ftp://dlink.com.sg/Test/WOL/DIR-615%20WOL.pdf

Configured with the same settings still not working, suspecting is because of this is the "custom firmware"

[WTA] Distance of the wireless keyboard can suppor

Hi All,

Lately i have setup my computer to have the HDMI output to the TV. There is a distance about 5M from the TV to PC, just want to know the wireless keyboard and mouse can support that distance or not?

Previously i used "Microsoft Wireless Media Desktop 1000" last time, the responsive time is bad, and with the maximum distance of 1meter from the receiver, which i was very disappointed with its performance.

If any of you are currently using wireless keyboard and mouse, please give me an idea of how far can we support and which model.

RMA for ASUS MOBO

i lost the receipt which i purchase the MOBO, according to the MOBO's serial number, it should be still under 3 years warranty.

Sent to a shop and paid them the service charge in order to send for RMA, then they claimed the distributor mentioned there is no "sticker" behind the MOBO, so they don't want to accept it for warranty.

I think what they means is the "distributor barcode" sticker. Without the sticker, is there anyway i can send for RMA because the serial number sticker is still there?

Actually what is the definition of OT?
1) You wanna do more than others?
2) Wanna boss to know you willing to work hard for company even though you have nothing to do
3) You actually have something must complete before the deadline
4) OT in order to improve your income
5) OT because can enjoy free internet access and aircon

Bought catridge from trinityz

Last week i bought a black cartridge from trinityz. Fast deliver and received 2 days back...

After i open the package, i realized it is a refurnished cartridge.
Refurnished meaning it is not a new one, but is a used set of cartridge refilled with new ink and sell as New condition.

You might ask me how do i found out is it is refurnished cartridge?
1) After installed the cartridge, window prompting black color cartridge is empty even thought i just replaced it, able to print without any issue
2) The cartridge weight is heavier than usual, canon never filled the original cartridge full.
3) After opened the cartridge box, the seal of the inner plastic packing a bit tear off.
4) Tear off the sticker from the cartridge's top part, there is a visible refill hole.

I already pm him and tracked the message, he read it but ignore without give any further explanation about it.

Upgrade 1.1.4 to 2.0.2

I have go through iClarified tutorial and planned to upgrade the firmware by tonight.

Currently the i am using 1.1.4 jailbreak 2g iphone, not using any sim crack.

My question is

1) the tutorial teach about upgrade to 2.0.1 version, can i apply the same way to 2.0.2 firmware which is latest released?

2) If we already have AppStore in iTunes 7.7, why do we need to jailbreak it and install Cydia? Any different?

3) I heard the firmware affected the iphone 3g version call reception, does it affected the 1st gen of iphone?

Can anyone clear my doubt? Or anyone can advise any URL that will provide a good guideline of upgrade the firmware?

iPhone cant restore, error 1015

Today tried to install an app and it crashed my iphone, it hang on the startup....

Then i used Ziphone to forced the DFU mode to restore my iphone firmware to 1.1.2 after many tries.
Well...it success....

And then
since it successful to restore to 1.1.2 and jailbreak it with Ziphone 3.0,
so i thought i might as well upgrade it to 1.1.3 firmware through iTunes...and it failed in middle with code 1015.

Now even i used back the DFU mode to try restore back to firmware 1.1.2 or upgrade to firmware 1.1.3,
it will failed with code 1015.

My bootloader is 3.9, i not sure during the upgrade 1.1.3, it will upgrade my bootloader too while it still failed,

Any suggestion for my problem?

Where to send warranty in Kingston memory

I have a DDR 333MHz 256mb of Kingston memory. I bought it 3 years back, although i know it is life time warranty, but i have no idea where to send?

last time my friend told me can send to "Amber action" which located at 3rd floor in low yat...but then....i did went there last time and they told me they didnt incharge for repair the kingston memory although they are distributor....

i also wonder.......

Can anyone tell me where to send warranty? Thank you..
