Looking for sponsorship and advice

Request for Sponsorship for Dine N’Dance at Sheraton Hotel

“Dare to dream, and from the dream comes great things,” this was once said by the Chief Executive Officer and Director of AirAsia Berhad, Dato' Anthony Francis Fernandes. We are a group of Form 4 students from different schools in Subang. We dare to dream big in our life. We have came to a suggestion and we know that your company would like to see the youths of today stand up and become leaders of the future. It is thus, our sincere desire to organize a dine N’dance for youths in Subang Jaya and Petaling Jaya and we hereby earnestly request for your company to support this dine N’dance. We deeply appreciated for help in any form.

This dine N’dance is aimed at promoting inter-racial relations among today’s youth. In the wake of the recent political turmoil, racial unity and amity is now of paramount importance as we strive to create a better tomorrow for Malaysia. Through this dinner, we hope that youths of different races and religions can come together and have a great time. On this note, we also look forward to better relations being forged among different ethnic groups so as to pave the way for a stronger, more bonded community. We may not save the world, but we can make a difference. As the saying goes, every achievement starts small.

In addition, by having us youths organizing such an event, it would surely bolster our leadership experience and organizing skills. In the long run, we feel that such an opportunity is not to be missed. As Form 4 students, we hope stereotype, which claims that Malaysian students are able to write but unable to present what the write, wrong.
Day after day, when we glance through a Star Newspaper for example, it is a definite if we were to see crimes such as rapes etc. caused by adolescents. In my opinion, I think by hosting this that through this event, we will be able to gain valuable insights through ever minute details involved in every planning of an event. It would be our first event, and we would surely treasure the experience gleaned through it for the rest of our lives.

The event itself would be a dinner-cum-performance night of fun-filled activities i.e. lucky draws and dance competitions. As it is an event by youths, for youths, it is only logical that the performers for the night are budding talents in the form of students too. Auditions will be held to select talented performers for the night so that they can showcase their musical, dance or any other talent that they might have. Prize will be given to the top 3 finalist and voting is done by the viewers and also partially by the judge. Also, the emcees for the night are also our very own students. This is done so that youths today can have a chance to be on the big stage not only to prepare them for future talks and seminars but, most importantly, to boost their confidence and charisma. By doing this, it would prove the event, would create an initiative and goal-minded youths and definitely maybe abolish time-wasting activities. It is of my joy to see youths today seeking and perceiving in seeking who they are and during their adolescence is usually when self-questioning is done. Therefore, I repute, this event could be an answer for some.

Funds profited from this event would be donated to the Disabled Children’s Home in Petaling Jaya as we are also aware of the unfortunate youths that do not stand a chance to lead a normal life. We sincerely hope that through this event, we can make a difference for these children; a quote by Sir Winston Churchill: ”We make a living by what we receive; we make a life by what we give”. This is our chance at fulfilling our dreams of organizing our very own dine N’dance event, and through your company’s sponsorship, we hope that our dreams can finally be achieved.
For the ease, I bring this to a summary regarding the main objectives of this dine N’dance:

•	Profit earned goes to the ‘Disabled Children’s Home’
•	Instills leadership, creative and planning qualities in youth
•	Forks out talent i.e. singing, dancing etc.
•	As a form of de-stress to youth.
•	Reduce time-wasting activities and vices in youth.
•	Experience of taking risks/business minded and making dreams a reality.
•	To promote unity and amity among youth and the abolishment of racism.
•	To create a confident and charismatic generation.

The sponsor company will be highlighted as the dinner’s main sponsor on all the promotional posters, brochures, buntings and banners. Besides that, your company will also be able to strengthen relationships with existing customers and build relationships with new ones. Other than that, your company logo and/or name used whenever the event is publicized such as media promotions, e-mails, and official event website along with a link to your website. Last but not least, opportunity for company branded materials in participant gift bags. (Promotional items are at your company expense, and must be pre-approved by the event coordinator.) At such, we shall come to a discussion over the phone and would be eternally grateful to your company if you are willing to offer a sponsorship for this dinner. On this note, any sorts of donations are welcome. We hope for a prompt reply to: 017-3527250 (Mr. Nicholas Kai Pong Liu) or 017-2992338 (Mr. Lok Rikhai). Once again, I thank you on behalf of the club for your time spent in reading this. The motto of our club which states: “We ameliorate today, not for self-gratification, but for a better tomorrow”
I love this girl, X since 4 months ago. X is very hardworking and she's good in sports too.. I am a fat, not handsome and I feel shy everytime I talk to a girl. I changed a lot because of X. I have been on diet for the past few weeks. I eat as little as possible and I ended up sick. Recently, I heard from my friend that X fall in love with my best friend, Y. Y is a new student in my school and I only knew him this year. Our relationship are very good. Yesterday night, I asked Y whether he has feeling towards X and he said no. I was so happy at that moment but X would get hurts if she knew about it. What should I do?
