Motorcycle Chains RK vs D.I.D.

Hi sifus

My Z250 factory chain has kaput after 33,000km. Anyone has experience with these two chain models?

D.I.D. 520VX3 & RK GB520KRX

Both seems to be using X-Ring type chains. but for RK, they bundle both the Sprocket & Chain for the same price of just the DID chains.

Would you personally go with (RK Sprocket + DID chains) or just go for (RK Sprockets & Chains) or do you guys have any other recommendations based off experience?

Any comments and recommendations will be highly appreciated!

Hi all, anyone knows any bike store that can do custom weldings or pipings? Bought a manifold for my bike but the fitment for my muffler requires a custom link pipe. Manifold and Muffler are from different brands hence the fitment issue. The manifold also comes with 2 O2 sensor ports whereas my bike only comes with 1 (different euro standard but same engine) so need to weld that shut.

preferably around shah alam. 😅

QJMOTOR SRK600RC Reliability and Cost of owning

Currently owning a Z250 2022 (paid off) for daily commute.

Thinking of getting the QJMOTOR SRK600RC. mostly for weekend rides from KL to JB to KL. I would garner a guess of 3k KM to 5k KM a month of mileage. Has anyone had experience with bike? I know it's based on the TNT600, so the platform is "well" established for Malaysia compared to other MForce bikes assuming the engine is still the same, only coverset engineering.

What's the cost of owning? What's the reliability? What's the highest mileage done by the community so far of the tnt/srk600? What should I expect?

Service cost; oil filter, eo, tyres, sprocket, chain
Insurance and Road Tax

I could try doing it on my own, but afrain would cause more issues in the long run (hygienically since i was never concious of my skincare before this ). Keep in mind, I am a male so please recommend any places that is not female only. thank you!

Hi owners or aquaintances of Modenas/Kawasaki Z250,

I have this bike a 2weeks+ now, clocking at 11xxKM+ already and I want to ask you guys, do you feel like the handle bar is in an awkward position? as if it's not too high but also quite low. Have you guys added a handle bar riser no remove this feeling?

Also regarding the lack-off a belly pan, does anyone know if there are any aftermarket belly pan that could be fitted since imho the exhaust sticking out too far infront without a belly pan makes it look too naked to my liking

140/70-r17 recomendations and discussion

Currently I am using a Modenas(Kawasaki) Z250 ABS 2022 and they come with stock 140/70-R17 tyres Dunlop

1. Thinking of changing the stock tyres to better ones since they suck when it rains. Any recommendations for tyres?

Been looking at Michelin Road or Pilot Road 5/6 and I know these are "overkill" for a 250cc but I dont want to cheap out on what's helping me stick to the road or cause me to hydroplane during rainy usage. but the only stock available are 150/70 or 150/60 instead of 140/70 for the rears.

2. Should I upsize and use 150/70 or 60 instead but then do I need to change my stock rims?

3. If I am upsizing my rears, are the fronts fine with stock 110/70-R17 or should I upsize that as well to 120/70?'''

Those are my questions. Do tell if I miss any important points.

Do note, I am a new rider with no experience prior to two weeks ago. Educate me as you see fit as you might help me from regretting doing something dumb.

CDL wanting to get B2/Full

What do I need to know before taking B2/Full license?
Do i need to take online tests?
Do i have the ability to skip some steps since I already have a CDL?
Should I get B2 or just go for B Full? Never planning to go any faster than 120kph on a bike (for now)
what should I know?
I have never ridden a kapcai/manual bike

I am genuinely asking these questions since I have no experience in riding a bike, and plan to get one later since commuting from bangi to subang jaya is not viable for me by car.
