New Apple Macbook Pro

A few years back, Asus surprise the world with its EEEPC netbook. They manage to clinch a big portion of the market in Netbook if compared to those late comers.
A few months ago, I was fascinated by Asus Zenbook succesor Zenbook Prime spotting to have IPS full HD display ( Notebook has been stucked with 1366x768 for too long already). I'm even more impressed by the bonus of this Zenbook Prime to come with Touch Screen which was annouced in Taiwan Computex last week. I aslo fall in love with the detachable screen of Asus Transformer Book. Wow, ASUS you are really great and innovative though the design seems to copy Macbook Air, who cares?

However, I was shocked that they didn't annouce the actual released date for both of the models. And today, at WWDC 2012, the new macbook pro is annouced. And the spec and retina display catch my attention. It's really a great notebook. Yes, I know. It's very pricey. But at least it's available also immediately. I guess ASUS will be beaten this time, not completely and at least being affected. What the heck? They just want to show off their upcoming product, and yet don't know when will all those products been released, no idea?? Next year?? Or They want to wait for officially released of Windows 8?? Come on Asus, Apple is offering free upgrade from Lion OSX to Mountain Lion OSX for free, why can't you do so, ASUS?

I think I'll most probably switch to Apple bandwagon. Macbook Pro specs are just too irresistable. Sorry for you Asus. You Lose!

[WTA] Screen between Apple Macbook & Win Notebook

When I went to check out Macbook in one of the Apple store, I find that the screen display is very nice with sharp image and vivid color if compare with the Asus, Toshiba or Acer notebooks Screen Display.
Is is an illusion optic? An psychology effect? An software tweak? or They are just two different quality of screen?
Does anyone know the answer?
Please provide serious answer. Thank you.

Ok, I'm stuck between this two model ONLY. Price tag is not the major concerned.

My concerns are:

1. Any bad experience with the notebook? (Meaning need to send in for hardware repair, driver and firmware support). I have bad experience with ACER (friends and brother). Motherboard sure KO within 3 years. Cheap skate.
I'm avoiding this brand already!!
2. If Warranty required, how is the service?
3. Which GC is better in gaming?
4. HP heat problem? or Asus Heat Problem?
5. What Speaker is HP using?.....Ya I know what ASUS is using.

I need recommendation on protective case for my Samsung Galaxy S from all the sifus here.

I'm currently using PDAir Silicone case. I like the grip but it's loose and not really fitting well with the margin always obstructing my touch at the margin of the screen.

Please give me the features of the cases u recommended. If possible with estimated price and material of the case. Thanks.

I would like to know more about MSI notebook:

1) Does MSI gt 680/780 comes with chiclet keyboard?
2) How is the performance and built quality of an MSI notebook, comparable to ASUS, ACER, FUJITSU, TOSHIBA, SONY etc.....?
3) Will this power horse get overheating problem?
