IC does not match with car owner

Hi guys,

I just did vehicle ownership transfer at JPJ yesterday morning, but when I tried to buy insurance through TNG app (for easy renewal), it shows IC does not match with car, probably haven't update yet. I tried to do in insurance company website and same problem still exist.

What should I do? Or I must buy through agent?

Edit: some updates to clarify
1. I worked for the Singapore employer for 3 weeks, my girlfriend even longer, not scam.
2. Provided a room in his apartment (doorstep to LRT and MRT) for free including utilities, my girlfriend is going to stay with me when she comes.

Hi all, after resigned from previous job in last thread (still maintain good relationship with previous employer), I went for two vacancy interviews and passed.

I needed more time to consider so I went to Singapore to work as part time promoter with my girlfriend (my girlfriend worked with the boss for the past events in Malaysia and Singapore), the boss and his wife like me and asked me to work full time for them.

The top two options:
1. Marketing manager cum content creator of a F&B company with more than 4-5 brands, total 10 restaurants

-RM4000 basic, easily achievable KPI extra RM1000 excluding commission, will provide laptop and some budget for equipment purchasing.

2. Manager of enterprise in Singapore (currently they have promoters and lorry driver only), which means I might have to cover basically everything. I have to manage online marketing especially TikTok and live streaming too. The boss told me before covid, their business was going strong, but now under recovery. (I am afraid not stable enough and I might be fired as he practices "fast hire fast fire" and he did to some promoters who can't hit half of the target. The target is quite easy to achieve tho, I can achieve almost everday. But still, it concerns me.

-2500 SGD basic (quite low since waiter in SG can get same amount? But mostly reserved for Singaporean only), he guaranteed me I will get not less than 3000 SGD excluding commission from TikTok shop
-provide a private room with aircond including utilities, MRT and LRT at doorstep
-unlikely to provide budget for equipment (I can buy myself tho).

Some promises (could be drawing a pie only) :
-will increase my basic after 3 months
-he will train me as his successor, he will retire 8 years later when he is 65 years old.
-within 3 years I will get 20% shares, I can buy the remaining 80% shares after he retired with company profits.
-if I feel like I want to go back to Malaysia, I still can work for him by handling Malaysia market.

Some of my details:
-31 years old
-my girlfriend will come to work as part time one month for every two months (so I don't feel too lonely)
-if I opted for marketing manager in Malaysia, I will do side businesses, but unlikely to match Singapore salary.
-if I go to Singapore, I need to clear so many things in my house and rent out, also need to sell my very old car. Probably need at least 2 months to settle or I can request unpaid leave to come back when needed since Singapore employer agreed to both solutions.

What should I choose? Please help, is it worth it or not? Since the difference is only RM2000-3000 if I stay in Malaysia after including my side business profit minimum RM1000.

iPhone tax refund for foreigner

If possible, buy from any seller can get refund as long as receipt provided? Or must buy from Switch?

I just went back to city area last two months, was thinking to restart business which closed down during pandemic but saw a F&B vacancy available for RM4.5k, it was a good offer for me considering I can earn around RM6k only post pandemic, thinking not difficult to get another RM1.5k from side income to match my RM6k target.

First month trial my salary RM3.5k included everything.

This was the message I got before starting:
basic salary 2300rm
epf 13% 300rm
f/b 1week 45hour working
but we 54hour working (actual is 57 hours/week)
OT x1.5 and Malaysia public holiday x3(11day but every month divide 1time)
=900rm
total 3500rm
u take 3200rm per month

I have a few questions:
1. 13% contribution should be from employer, but he deducts from my salary, how about my 11%? What If he pays 13% only from my salary but no 11%?

2. My actual working hours is 57 hours/week. Sometimes he comes to shop and took money without telling me, then I have problem in tallying the account, caused me another one hour late to back without OT, it happens quite often. I was okay with it but now he asks me to go to work earlier.

3. I just got paid salary, he said my EPF wasn't ready yet, so he paid me RM3500, by right I should get another 13% too right?

4. Can I ignore the 13% employer contribution if employer doesn't pay, only request after I decided to quit working?

No offer letter, but he sent me the salary structure and salary by transfer method with title "salary".

Feels so tiring with this, was promised to have my off day fixed on Monday, but just now tell me tomorrow need to change off day (I already paid for hotel) sigh

I am going for a trip to Bangkok with my gf.

I already booked and paid for flight tickets, awaiting passport renewal to do check in. I have a few questions.

1. I didn't purchase luggage weight addons, was thinking will not exceed 7kg, but just read there's 56cm x 36cm x 23cm limit which is too small for a normal size luggage, can I add on when checking in online?

2. How to addon weight for return flight?

Recently I got the approval from HQ for expanding brand store.

I have yet to decide requirements.

If I offer something like this:

1. Renovation minimum RM20k budget allocation for promotional space, up to RM150k for shoplot inside mall
2. Setup fee
3. Real working units for display purpose

Total worth around RM40k, 100% bear by us.

Potential business owner just need to pay rental (even space inside shopping mall with 1+1 rental will do)

Only one condition, just need to make sure the business runs for at least one year (can relocate).
-If can't run more than one year, just need to pay 50% of renovation fee.
