i wanna but a new pc this coming weekends.my budget is rm2500-rm3000.i use mostly for games like counter strike,PES and DOTA with some photoshop and multimedia editing...so far these are what i have in mind...

processor: i5 760

g/c: HD 5750 Sapphire

hdd: Samsung F3 1 TB

m/b: ASUS P7H55 M LE

dvd drive: Samsung 22x

ram: Kingston PC3 10600 DDR3 133 4GB

monitor: 20" Samsung E2020

casing: Thermaltake V3

p/s: Silverstone Strider 500W

i just wanna ask...

why some of the official google apps (e.g. gmail, youtube and voice search) cannot be found in market?

is it because malaysian android market does not have the apps or the update for the apps yet?

what are the options to update or install these apss besides rooting the phone?

p/s: i googled the apk files for google maps version 4.7 and managed to found a few? is it safe to install it via unofficial site.

transferring file via usb...please help

i have transferred few files (mp3,mp4 and jpg) from my laptop into my desire via usb cable.so i went to oi file manager and all the transferred files were there and they all were viewable and accessible at the oi file manager. however i got few problems regarding this matter:

1) when i go to htc photo app the pictures were corrupted (or may be not but i couldnt view it) but when i transferred the file via bluetooth the file is viewable using htc photo app (i goes under bluetooth folder).

2) i try to set the mp3 file as my notification sounds for my handcent sms. there was no sound coming out from the speaker.

*for mp4 files there were no problem at all.i transferred them.and they were all accessible in oi file manager and htc photo app.

is there any specific instructions as to how to manage the file being transferred via usb cable like we have to move a particular file into a particular folder or something like that. or should i install any app in order to manage all the files (mp3,mp4 and jpg particularly).

sorry for such a noob question.i just got my desire for few days.thanks all.
