My JavaScript strategy board game (Sekk)

The objective is to turn a Red stone's square red and flashing, if you play as Gray. It needs 2 players and is compatible with touchscreen devices so a good time waster on the train, library etc. Completely opensource so you may copy and derive from it.

There will be indication that a stone is going red as its background changes from green -> yellow -> orange -> red -> blinking.

Have fun and help me spread the word about Sekk.

Thx,
CK

I have stopped collecting watches

I have stopped collecting watches after 20 years in the hobby. These are the 3 I’m keeping: PRS516 on suede/deployant, Promaster JP1060 on Velcro, and Protrek on G-shock adapter/pass through.

Have to keep the PRS as it was a gift. And the Protrek triple sensor is so practical. If I had one Casio only, it would be a Protrek. As for the Promaster, I’m keeping it for the dive computer built in as well as the anadigi dial and big red hands.

Because I may start earning money again from innovating on tennis equipment, I feel like buying just one more watch. A luxury timepiece to finalize this craving. Maybe a GS antimagnetic.

What about you guys?

Let’s make a better belt

I have been wearing a karate belt as my main casual belt for some years now. Of course I modded it to be shorter.

Karate belts are comfortably light and less pressing on the gut.

That’s when I got the idea of making what could be the ultimate belt.

First cut and reinforce a D shape hole in one end of the material.

Then punch and reinforce notches along both edges of the opposite end

To wear the belt, squeeze the notch end into the D shape hole and ratchet it to fit

What does everyone think? Who’s with me?

My oss python 123 music sequencer

I made this open source simple music sequencer in Python3. It uses 123 notation and has 4 tracks. It uses PyGame and MidiUtil and TKInter as the interface. It has some cool functions such as humanisation and MIDI export etc.
