Not profitable once except past 2 months.<br /><br />Culture is fine, but do alot of work handling other people job due to severe shortage of staff.<br /><br />Recently big boss said that company direction is going in the right direction and should be sunshine for me(we the next generations in another 4-5 years) but I don&#39;t think I can wait that long and slowly my people is retiring and not many want to work in this industry anymore.<br /><br />Plus I&#39;m told by my another manager I&#39;m being underpaid to do what I do. I&#39;m taking up manager responsibility as well as manager position is vacant. However company has been good to me and promoting me fast year by year in hopes I&#39;ll take over one day. But I&#39;m not happy here anymore. <br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Thus I did some job application and I landed 3 job offers for manager role.<br /><br />Have one Australian company offering 7.5k and the job seems much more manageable. However benefits slightly below par the company I&#39;m at now. But is much more new, unique and mnc company.<br /><br />With this 7.5k, effectively my salary jumped 82% in less than 1 year.<br /><br /><br />Thus in dilemma, feels bad abit since current company have recently promoted me with highest given bonus than anyone else this year. And 8 months later I resign and jump and gain a new title. Might leave a bitter after taste.<br /><br />But then again, I think it&#39;s nothing personal. It&#39;s my life that I gota live with and this opportunity is too hard to pass.<br /><br />I don&#39;t expect my current company to adjust my salary up 50% and be given manager title promotion again in a year.<br /><br />Has anyone been in this situasion before? I do understand the grass isn&#39;t always greener on the other side, but probably it&#39;s a risk worth taking. Do have some fear of a new place as well.
