top 10 most regretful things done in the past:

1. studying engineering rather than taking up economics and accounting.
- i was offered paid tuition fees by my uncle for a degree in accounting but the condition was to work for him as tax consultant for 5 years. i rejected his offer and once i stepped into engineering career, i instantly regretted it because of the pay.

2. i didn't chase the girl that i liked i my high school.
- the girl that i admired during my form 4. i was too introvert at that time. nobody teach me to be more advantageous back then. i rather watch tv series than to pick up some hobby or to learn new skills. eventually, she got into teaching institute and married to a man which is her batchmate. till now, every now and then her fb post is either her cooking or her baby

3. i didn't jump into sales and marketing during my younger years in career.
- i lost interest in engineering, salary is one of the factor. i knew one of the only way out is to join sales and marketing team but i was procrastinating. however, one of my good friend brought me out from my comfort zone and offered me a sales and marketing job. no turning back since then

4. i didn't pick up reading as hobby until i was 25. i wished that somebody would have inspire me to be a reader during my high school years. reading helps in improving mindset and personality

5. not making enough good friends and more acquaintances. i was being very inactive during my degree years. mostly in between classes i would just sit in the cafeteria myself with few other classmates for some lame handphone games. i didn't join any club back then. after class i would quickly catch the bus and back to my rented room to either play games and watch jav till i fapped. i wished i joined many interesting clubs and society to enlarge my network back then

6. i regretted my adulterous ONS with a married women if you already knew she is married. i don't think it is wise to screwed a family and i hoped it would never happen to me.

7. i sold off my supermax shares too early during the pandemic run. could easily rack in another 200-300k profit, but also my good friend asked me not to be greedy with the profit.

8. being a yes man to in-laws. there are limits to your own capabilities and sometimes, a firm 'no' answer would generally bring a shorter pain instead of a longer ones

9. buying expensive labelled goods. always use mercedes benz motto: the best, or nothing. owning a LV for the sake of vanity means nothings if the guy beside you wearing a hermes. i once thought to impress acquaintance by owning a tissot back in my early 20s, but heck... people already started wearing omega and rolex. stop wasting money to impress others, besides the girl you would like to chase.

10. idling. there is so much things to do life then to idle or to stone. grab a coffee for a productivity kick if you need one.

well, i'm sure that it will be more regretful things to come in future. hopefully my loss is your gain. here are my 5 simple tips to do in life

1. reading. reading does improve your world...a lot

2. invest as early as you can. save a portion before you spend. and invest the money you save while you are still young

3. driving a second hand car will not hurt your ego

4. learn how to court girls before you want to date them. social dating apps is one of the greatest wonder ever made for human

5. always go for extra class. cooking class, language class and some other clubs

because of work pressure and company cash flow issues, started to lose motivation to work. with some cash and investment asset. i having the mindset of tak suka i keluar

as per topic, are multi-split aircond unit designed to run 24/7?

went to visit a friend house yesterday that he bought recently. subsale unit. it's a old unit therefore JMB no allow him to install more than 2 unit of A/C due to power supply limitation.

therefore in order to have aircond for all 3 bedroom and the living room. he installed a multi split aircond which 1 compressor serve 2 bedroom and 1 living room. My friend WFH and therefore uses the aircond compressor 24/7 - daytime living room, night time bedroom. apparently for singapore HDB it's very common now for them to use multisplit unit

will it spoil faster or decrease the life span of the compressor? just curios

well i am asking for more input here before considering it for my next house renovation. want to install 2 multi-split aircond for 2 story landed house

nowadays hardly any option to transfer amount more than 3000 MYR using TAC/OTP SMS

all using secure sign and secure code via apps. but if the apps or 4G sucks, the apps will freeze and forever you may not able to do banking service
