Zulkifli berkata sebelum ini beliau telah memberikan idea untuk mewujudkan surau Jumaat dan pimpinan Jabatan Perdana Menteri (JPM) (Hal Ehwal Agama) berusaha untuk melaksanakan perkara itu dengan segera.

“Sejak dua tahun lepas, saya dan pasukan JPM (Hal Ehwal Agama) menggerakkan banyak program dakwah lapangan dan kebajikan di Bukit Bintang, Chow Kit dan kawasan sekitar.

“Alhamdulillah, syukur atas gerak kerja pantas Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (MAIWP), Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM), Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (JAWI) dan Pejabat Mufti Wilayah Persekutuan dalam usaha dakwah berhikmah ini,” katanya.

A married couple with 4 kids was arrested yesterday (July 2) for selling pornographic materials on Telegram, priced between RM50 and RM150.

The man sold adult videos featuring his wife with other men, and said they made up to RM6,400 in just one week.

According to the Kuala Lumpur Police Chief, Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said the man pimped his wife for pornographic content for RM450 and up to RM800, which was later sold on a private Telegram channel at RM50 for limited content, and for RM150 on another private Telegram channel for “VVIPs” with unlimited content.

“Customers who purchase or subscribe to pornographic videos will be given a link on Telegram to gain full access to the pornographic content.”

“The couple targeted X users to sell pornographic videos and prostitution activities which were managed by the husband who used Telegram as a medium to communicate,” Datuk Rusdi explained.
Payments for the videos are made via online transactions or with a QR code, but only cash is accepted for sexual activities with his wife. The female suspect, who acted as a prostitute, played the main character in all content, and would also help to sell the videos. The sexual activities started in June 2024 until they were arrested at a 4-star hotel in Shah Alam.

The profits from the sale of the videos and the sexual activities were also shared with her husband.

The suspects, who are both 34 years old, are remanded for three days until July 4 to assist with the investigations, which are being carried out under,

PETALING JAYA: A total of 59 police personnel have been dismissed in the first five months of 2025 for disciplinary reasons, mostly linked to drug-related offences.
The director of Bukit Aman’s integrity and compliance department, Azri Ahmad, said other dismissed personnel were involved in integrity violations, criminal offences, corruption, and shariah-related misconduct.

He said the statistics include offences investigated or committed before 2025, Bernama reported.

A total of 146 others were suspended from duty between January and May, during which the department received 2,637 complaints and reports concerning police misconduct.

“I want to thank the public for their cooperation. Based on these statistics, the police assure the public that any officer found guilty of wrongdoing, be it misconduct or criminal activity, will face firm disciplinary action without compromise,” he said.

Azri also said the newly launched Aduan JIPS mobile app, introduced on June 4, has received more than 20 complaints. He assured whistleblowers that their identities are fully protected.
