Life is so funny sometimes

I am in my 30s and have been singled for the past 4 years

These 4 years I tried to chase girls whenever possible from social activities to office. Somehow all didn’t worked out

There was one intern in my office I liked her and trying to get close to her and know her better but she was keeping it a distance and later only I knew she actually is seeing someone in the same office.

After continuously tried, I grow tired and my reputations in office somehow not that good anymore. So I gave up on relationship this year May.

The intern she came back as permanent in July but since I given up , so I decided not to have any sort of moves… just focus only on my works.

Then go my surprised she show interest in me and I was in shocked because it was hard to believe. So I proceed with cautions asking her out for a movie and trying to know her. I was still half disbelief so I treated her extremely politely and didn’t flirt at all.

After that movie date, she no longer show any interest in me and I was afraid I will lost her so I asked her out… the next week unfortunately it was at the same time I got sick in my life and lost my voice. Yet I still asked her out and we had a good talk despite me losing my voice

And I got a very important trip in 2 weeks. So the next week i focus on recovering since i totally lost my voice the 2nd date after.

After my trip, for some reason my infections got worse and i ended up having fevers for more than 2 weeks and then hospitalised.

I wanted to propose her to be my gf on the 3rd date but for some reason a lot of factors stopping me from doing it… then now she told me she is seeing someone and we can still continue to be just FRIEND.

My heart just broke. I dunno what to feel, shall I be sad? Shall I be regret? I just feel so lost right now… is like god has make a big joke on me again

Questions about built in oven, microwave, dryer et

Hi all,

I am a new house owner and got a few questions that I don’t understand.

The house is a small landed house.
1. I saw many of my friends opted for the built in oven and microwave. The standalone oven or microwave is way a lot cheaper than the built in one. So why not create a gap in the cabinet that is big enough to place the standalone in it, it is easier to repair or change a new one when spoil. What is the benefits of getting a more expensive built in oven and microwave?

2. Many of the landed houses also purchase the LG washing tower which is a washing machine below and a dryer at the top. In a condo it make sense due to space contraints and strata rules of not allowing to dry clothes outside the balcony or on windows. But does having a dryer make sense in our climate in a landed house? What do you think?

3. This is the same as the first question. The built in gas stove is way pricier and harder to change and repair compares to the standalone gas stove. So why not just buy the standalone gas stove if opting for gas? Unless if it is electricity type then I can understand.

4. Any advice on which type of cooker hob is good for landed house? I heard the recirculating type is not as good extraction type. Condo opted for recirculating hood because they can’t install external ducting. So in this case, it is better for me to opt for extraction hood? Is it really the case?

5. Bed is one of the most important element in our life as we spent a quarter of our life every days sleeping on bed. What will be then important criteria that a bed shall have for you? What is a good bed? I asked because just by laying on the bed for 5 min at the showroom, I can’t tell whether it is a good bed and I do not know what makes a good bed.

I am worry of been telan hidup hidup by salesperson 😞 if you have any experiences of the above please share. Not necessarily must have all the experiences on the above questions only share, can share any experiences you have on any questions too.

Hi,

Anyone here studies Master of Software Engineering in UM? It seems to be do not have any programming included in the modules, but what worries me are the Dissertation. I am not really good in programming and I am very lost and not sure what to expect. Hopefully somebody can share some lights here. Thank you

By the way, I am working full time now, so I am also worry it has a heavy toll on me, so really appreciate if someone also in corporate world and have crossed this path to share the experience and any useful information. Thank you so much again

iPhone Screen damaged

I am not quite sure is it because of my OCD that I have a habit of wiping my iPhones every night with a rather wet wet tissue that it somewhat causes some water damages on my iPhones?

But what are the symptoms of water damages by the way?

Currently, I have multiple victims on hand, erm.. enough victims to give me alerts on how shall I bypass my OCD, if not I am soon going to be pokai.

1. Apple Watch - one fine day suddenly the screen just like flickering with some red and green patches and lines then just went black. The Watch still functioning but the screen suffered the infamous black screen of death.

Note: It happens just few days after I applied a Apple Watch tempered glass screen myself, and the tempered screen got the liquid glue.

2. iPhone X - Been using it for 4 years + and then one fine day, the screen also flickered and suffering from the infamous black screen of death, the iPhone is still alive but just black screen.

3. iPhone XR - This one haven't suffer from the black screen of death, but suddenly it has these green lines or sometimes red lines from top till the bottom of the screen, so I think it is going to die soon too.

Note: This happened after as usual I use wet tissue to wipe it, let it dry then applied a new casing. I noticed the new silicone casing is very tight, dunno is the casing affecting it or not.

I am not sure whether they are suffering from water damages or what, but I am just speechless.

Wanted to venture into Business as a

Hi,

I would like to venture into business as a corporate staff and have faced several difficulties

1. I plan to venture into logistic business something like J&T express, but my work is in IT and not logistic field, so i don't know anything about logistic
2. I needed to rent a shop and buy a lorry for delivery purposes
3. I have to hire an operation staff and also a driver.

The 1st and 2nd i think i can manage, but the 3rd one is very tricky and since i have my own full time job, so i can't manage the business fully and need my staffs to assist me which I doubt doable, as I can't monitor them or even supervise them as well.

If i can't supervise or monitor my staffs and then they also blurr sotong due to no experience in logistic , just like me. Isn't it elevate the business risk to extremely high?

So far I really got no idea what to do and is having sleepless night on how shall I initiate this plan of mine. Hope any gurus here can give some pointers. Thank you so much

Japanese Club KL

Hi,

I am asking regarding to Japanese Club KL in Taman Seputeh and wondering is there anyone can nominate me as Associate member?

From my understanding, on top of paying the monthly membership fees, if I wanted to participate their activities such as Karate, Iaido etc, I needed to pay additional class fees is it?

And, it is the same with Japanese language classes, needed to pay additional class fees. Would like to know, does their Japanese School of KL which is located in Saujana Resort, Subang also got Japanese language classes opened for non Japanese citizens?

Tenant is not co-operative

Hi all,

So I have been trying to assist my parent to sell off their house, I am alone in KL and my parents are in hometown.

I have this tenant that have been renting with us and have also been paying the rental promptly, so there is no issue.

Now, the problem is, because we wanted to sell the house, so the agent would like to access the house to take picture all that, however, the tenant kept evading us such as not picking up phone call, not replying our whatsapp, even if reply also claimed outstation ... so we can't get access to the house.

In this case, what shall I do? I am very lost here.

Change tyres and rims then return it

Hi all,

I would like to know, if I buy a new set of tyres and also changed new rims for my car, if I find it unsatisfactory like within a week or 2 weeks, can I return them back to the tyre shop? Will they accept it and pay me back? What and how does the warranty of the tyres and the rims work?
