Hows your 2026 so far?

already almost halfway into 2027. Half 2026 gone already.

So how was it so far?

For me, good things that happen:
1. Secured a lot of concert. Last week Laufey. Coming A7X, Evanescene, MCR, got BTS for my dotter and wife.
2. New house almost complete
3. Already went to 2 vacations, creating core memories for our family.
4. Investment doing well
5. Finally got rid of crappy X1 and bought VW Polo instead for my wife.

Bad things:
1. LHDN on my ass. Got assessed for year 2021, 2024, have to pay excess of 15k. And for 2025 YE, have to pay 25k more on top of monthly PCB. Partly my fault, I took a lot of Directors fee and no dividend. Well thats u get for hiring crappy accountant.
2. For my company, a lot of project coming in, but less payment. Payment always got delayed, up to a point I have to resort to CIPAA. Cant do it on my own, and most lawyer will take around 10% to 30% fees. Yes I know CIPAA is free and can be done without lawyer, but dealing with AIAC will be headache.
3. Have to fork out RM100k from my ASB to pump into my company, because of number 2 above. Dont think will get it back anytime soon.
4. Lost some friend in business. Hard time now, everyone willing to stab anyone, even long term business friend.

This is major one lah. Minor one i dont keep track.

Later early April best friend of mine finally come to KL from US. Last we met was last year, but over lunch only. This time he will spending some time at KL, plan to bring him to drink. Not club, maybe bar with live band. Got suggestion?

I saw Jaya one got 2 nice bar, 3 stooges and one more directly in front of it, donno the name. Saw some stages and equipment for live band, so most probably got live band.

Must be at PJ ya. Dont want alien place like Rawang or Kepong or anything like that.

Dont say bukit bintang, full or arab/black people.

Last night played tennis with friends. After tennis go dinner. Then tokok for a while. Told my friends that my lease for my X1 and X3 will habis next year, so thinking to change or not. They immediately told me to go for vellfire/alphard. They say rich people always drive vellfire/alphad.

Last time someone told me vellfire alphad xmasuk malaysia, the one at malaysia is recon. But this year toyota bring it in. So i checked the price, not so expensive also for MPV.

So my question is why people always associated rich with vellfire/alphad? its not that expensive.

btw thinking to buy lexus next year.

Company linked to Farhash gets RM732 million job

Company linked to Farhash gets RM732 million job to supply MyKads

An IT solultions company linked to a firm chaired by controversial PKR leader turned businessman Farhash Wafa Salvador has secured a lucrative government contract worth RM732.72 million to supply MyKad to the National Registration Department (JPN).

The contract, awarded to NexG Berhad, formerly Datasonic Group Berhad, comes just six months after Farhash emerged as the largest shareholder of MMAG Holdings Bhd.

On March 26, Farhash, the former political secretary to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, bought 462 million shares in MMAG Holdings for RM184.8 million, according to a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

Financial news TheEdge had reported that while the purchase price was not disclosed, a Bloomberg report showed that the 462 million shares were transacted off-market on March 26 in four tranches at 40 sen each, representing a 65% discount to MMAG’s closing price of 66 sen on the same day.

Following this, Farhash owns 20% of MMAG Holdings.

The next day, NexG Bhd became a substantial shareholder of MMAG Holdings with a 9.53% stake, up from 1.95% just three weeks earlier.

NexG stated in a Bursa filing at the time that the company was ready to diversify its businesses, including delivering "a comprehensive security and ID solution with integrated logistics support by leveraging MMAG’s logistics, warehousing, and aviation services".

As the largest shareholder, Farhash was appointed chairman of MMAG Holdings, taking over from former Public Service director-general Mohd Khairul Adib Abd Rahman, who had meanwhile become a substantial shareholder in NexG with a 6.1% stake.

The contract to NexG was awarded by the home ministry and spans six years, from June 1,2026 to May 31,2032.

The ministry had already awarded NexG another contract worth RM1.73 billion to supply Malaysian passports over six years.

The identity cards to be supplied to JPN include MyKad, MyTentera, and MyPoca, the special card issued under the Prevention of Crime Act.

According to NexG, its latest contract is to provide "a next-generation upgraded MyKad", which it said would help Malaysians receive fuel and other subsidies.

Police arrested two individuals from their homes early today for uploading online content critical of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, in what is seen as the government's latest crackdown on free speech.

Aidil Qayyum, who is part of Bersatu Youth's new media section, was arrested at his home at 1am today, believed to be over his comments critical of the government's new subsidy scheme for RON95 petrol.

He is being investigated under the Sedition Act, Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act, and Section 505(b) of the Penal Code related to causing "fear or alarm to the public".

All three laws have frequently been used by authorities against journalists and government critics.

Meanwhile, TikToker Muhammad Kamil Puteh, one of a growing number of Malaysians unaffiliated with political parties who have been actively criticising the government, was arrested at his home at 3.30am over his cynical comments on a recent statement by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) absolving Anwar of claims that he kept a bank account in Israel.

"MACC worked very fast. They investigated all 20 accounts, and it's now confirmed there is no corruption at all," Kamil said in a TikTok video.

MACC recently said there was no truth in the claim that Anwar had 20 bank accounts, including in Israel, and warned the public "against speculation that could mislead the public or tarnish the reputation of any person without valid grounds".

The claim was first made in 2013 by then Barisan Nasional Simpang Renggam MP Liang Teck Meng, who said the information originated from a list published by prominent whistleblower site WikiLeaks.

According to MACC, WikiLeaks had denied publishing such a list.

Both Kamil and Aidil have been brought to the Dang Wangi police station for remand, according to Kamil's lawyer, Rafique Rashid.

Political intimidation

Armada (Bersatu Youth) information chief Harris Idaham Rashid has strongly condemned Aidil's arrest and the latest use of the Sedition Act.

"Armada will continue to oppose the use of this act against the youth for the purpose of political intimidation," he said.

Meanwhile, prominent TikToker Na'im Brundage, who is also the communications head of Bersatu Youth, said the use of the Sedition Act against Aidil showed Pakatan Harapan's hypocrisy.

"This is an act once labelled as 'cruel' by Pakatan Harapan in their last election manifesto.

"This cruel act that they supposedly wanted to abolish is now being used against a young man for speaking out on issues affecting the people. It seems that the law is only cruel when it is used against them, but not when it is used against their political opponents," Na'im told MalaysiaNow.

Aidil has previously questioned Anwar's announcement to limit subsidised RON95 fuel for Malaysians to 300 litres per month.

Starting today, Malaysians will have to present their identity cards at petrol stations nationwide to buy RON95 petrol at the subsidised price of RM1.99 per litre.

It also comes with a condition that they have a valid driving licence, failing which they will pay RM2.60 per litre.

Aidil questioned the assumption that those who use petrol beyond the 300-litre limit are considered rich.

"Even so, are the rich not Malaysian citizens too? Fuel subsidies have always been exclusive to all Malaysians. Are you saying that those who are wealthier and pay more taxes are not entitled to subsidies that ultimately come from their own money?" he said in a TikTok video.

"What exactly defines the rich? What about those who earn low wages but use a lot of fuel in their daily lives? Don't be blind, subsidies are increasingly being removed every day.

"It is clear that the Madani government is a failed government. They say one thing and do something else. In fact, it is worse than any previous government."

Sometime I really wonder how come my kids so dumb. Not doing well in exam, join competition also malas, if join also get participation medal only.

When I was at their age, I was top of my class. In fact, i was top of my class until I was form five. Flopped during matrix in labuan due to alcohol problem, but still managed to grad first class. I joined a lot of competition because I know those things gave me hope for scholarship. I was poor, so education is the only way out.

Same also with waifu. Top of class, join cheerleading, get scholarship. She is better, graduated high school as salutatorian, magna cum laude in university.

However our kids dumb af. So weak, slow, dumb.

Apa sarahan saya? too manja with kids? give them too much? maybe its true, "Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times." My kids now is now on 4th cycle.

Sudah give tuition, buy a lot of exercise books, still no good result. Talked to them also mcm no use. Talked to my peers, they all also not very strict with their kids, and their kids even worst.

So yesterday after church I went to lunch with friend. He told me that his wife and him are in rough patch. It was so bad that he had a meltdown and went bat shit crazy. What trigger the meltdown was years of bottling emotion and stress. He have no family, his mother is biased towards him as the rest of his siblings are more successful. His family went to family dinner once a month at the sister's house, and no one invited him. So the only family he have now is his wife and kids, and he put all his soul into it. He mentioned that when we had a meltdown, his daughter was scared and cried, and that stopped his meltdown instantly, but after that he went drive somewhere alone to clear his mind. He also mentioned that his wife is not the same women he knew back then. According to him, his wife is more complacent now, have no ambition, knowing that he will provide for everything they need. He also mentioned that during the meltdown, his wife asked for divorce/separation right in front of the kids.

He wanted to make things good again, or at least working for them. So he had a talk with his wife. While he was proposing a solution, the wife keep on pointing mistakes. He proposed for couple counseling, but the wife is against it. She say what is the use of talking to other people about family affair. His wife is a bit on kampung side, not well educated, just high school cert. While he gives out reasons why couple therapy is the solution, the wife keep on pointing mistake, and a simple talk turn into fight again. Finally the wife agreed to go for counselling, but knowing his wife, he is very positive that the wife will just go for the sake of going, and will not take any advice or willing to change. It had been that way since they were married.

Honestly speaking, I went to therapist too to solve my issue, and for me, it only work if u are willing to open up, talk and listen. In his wife case, she is willing to talk, but never listen. They used to be happy family. The kids are well mannered too.

Any of u here went for couple therapy, or at least encountered the same issue? I really want to help them, I pity the kids. I grew up in broken house, so I know the feeling growing up without a father. Even my friend agree for co-parenting, knowing the wife, she will take everything in her own hand and will screw up everything.

Malaysians sucks at dress code

I've been to many events, from small close event involving royalties to small kampung wedding.

One thing I noticed, Malaysian dont know how to follow dress code. I went to my kids music recital every year, and I guarantee every year there are some dumbass that use shorts and slippers, even the invitation card say smart casual. When I eat at classy restaurant that have dress code, guarantee some dumbfcks will use slipper and shorts. Regardless of race, most Malaysian dont follow dress code, or at least dress appropriately. U go to any Malay wedding, u can see a lot of people just go there using t shirt and sandal/slipper.

I think its because of enforcement. ive been to classy restaurant back at UK, and the maître d'hôtel will not let u in if u are dress inappropriately. Knowing BolehLand, its all "tak apa" attitude.

Sorry gonna rant here because my oversea client asking me why the restaurant we went have dress code, but can see few people use slipper and shorts.

Range cooker

Yesterday go jalan-jalan. Wife say wanna buy range cooker, easy to cook. Got 5 stoves, 110liter oven, so can bake cookies banyak in one batch. Waifu really like to cook a lot and invite guest over to eat. She say can buy awal for christmas. Size also can match our kitchen.

But I have no experience buy leh. Delonggi or whatever the name is 12k plus. Best I can found is Elba, 5k plus. Got other funny brand name like livinox Lebensstil and others.

Any ktards got review and experience? I got one elba in my house, rice cooker. Last longer than Tefal. my Tefal handle patah after 1month use lol.

Musa’s son joining PKR

PETALING JAYA: Sabah PKR has dodged questions over talk that Yamani Hafez Musa, son of the governor, has joined the party and will contest for a seat at the upcoming state polls.

Sabah PKR chairman Mustapha Sakmud said reporters should ask Yamani instead, but added that “we will announce it later”, The Star reported.

He said this after launching the election operations room for Api-Api state seat in Kota Kinabalu.

PKR deputy president Nurul Izzah Anwar, who was also at the launch, said applications to join the party could be made online. “The right person to ask is our secretary-general,” she said, referring to Fuziah Salleh.

FMT has contacted Fuziah for comment.

Yamani, the eldest son of Sabah governor Musa Aman, is a former deputy state finance minister. He won the Sipitang parliamentary seat on a Barisan Nasional ticket in the 2018 general election. He later joined Bersatu and did not defend the seat in the 2022 elections.

However, Yamani’s name emerged as a potential candidate for PKR for the Sipitang seat in recent weeks. The seat is currently held by Dr Yusof Yacob of Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah, a member of the ruling Gabungan Rakyat Sabah.

Christina Liew’s absence

Separately, Mustapha played down the absence of former Sabah PKR chief Christina Liew at today’s launch. There has been speculation that Liew would be dropped as a candidate in the Sabah state assembly elections.

“Perhaps she has other commitments as a minister and had to attend several programmes today. That’s why she couldn’t be present here,” he said. Liew is state minister for tourism, culture and environment.

Can Tenant choose their own Lawyer to draft TA?

Firstly I know ada Property Talk, but it seems like I can get faster answer here.

So the question is, does tenant have the right to appoint their own lawyer to draft the TA or only can use agent's lawyer to draft TA?

The stories like this. My friend wanted to rent a shoplot, about 1,400/month. The agent asking for normal thing, 2+1 depo plus utility. He ok with that, normal stuff lah. But what actually surprise him is the TA fees. The agent is asking for Rm700 for TA, and have to be paid to their agency. I told my friend I rented my unit for RM3000 and my lawyer only asked for 600+ for the TA, so I think his TA should be cheaper lah. He then told the agent that he dont want to use agent's lawyer and will engage his own lawyer to draft the TA, but the agent say kenot. But according to my lawyer, tenant have the right to choose their own lawyer, no law say have to sue agent's lawyer. The law only say as long as the one drafting the TA is a law firm, then ok already.

Kenot change location also because my friend say this place is good, near to his house, got good makan2 place. So he is not inclined to look for other unit.

PUTRAJAYA - Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman walks out of court a free man today after the Court of Appeal acquitted him of all four charges of abetting in criminal breach of trust (CBT), misappropriation of property and money laundering involving party funds linked to Angkatan Bersatu Anak Muda (Armada).

In a unanimous decision, a three-judge panel, comprising Datuk Ahmad Zaidi Ibrahim, Datuk Azman Abdullah and Datuk Noorin Badaruddin allowed the former youth and sports minister’s appeal and overturned his conviction and sentence handed down by the Kuala Lumpur High Court on Nov 9, 2023.

The High Court had sentenced Syed Saddiq, 32, to seven years imprisonment, two strokes of the cane and a RM10 million fine after finding him guilty on all four abetment charges involving Armada funds.

Gen Z problem?

Just morning rant.

My company usually take in interns from various university for various post. All of them are pursuing degree from local University. Now I have 4 engineering interns, 2 man and 2 women. I noticed that they have this kind of attitude, do as they wish. They came in as they wish, and clock out as they wish too. My company have this policy where u can clock in between 8-9am, and then u just clock out accordingly after 9 hours (8 hours working + 1 hour rest). From my point of view, we gave leeway already on being flexible on your working time.

However these interns came in almost 10, at least once a week. So my HR did an investigation and call those that have this problem. Their reason for being late? Simply overslept. Cant brain someone who went to university to overslept. I mean, they usually have class at 8am or 9am, they did their study for 4 years, and by this time they are not accustomed to waking up early? Don't they have to wake up early to pray also? I am not a muslim, yet I woke up when there is Azan because that is the way we are raised. Azan mean its beginning of the day. And this is not special case. Last year I had few interns with the same attitude, and some of my engineers also have this problem, especially fresh grad. Never in my life I was late to work due to overslept, even in my youth days where I partied until 3am, reached home and slept, and still manage to clock in at 8.30am.

I guess kids nowadays dont have that sense of responsibility and integrity.

what will u do if u have cash

Something just cross my mind when I was running this morning.

If let say u have cash RM 50K, but u can't deposit it into bank, what will u do about it? Every transaction have to be cash transaction, and you can't deposit the money into bank.

As for me, I will use it maybe to buy groceries, or for my pets. Groceries about 2.5k/month, my pets still about RM300 per month. So about a year plus to finish it. Thought want to buy gold too, but the price is too high right now.

Where does private hospital or clinic get their blood? I know gomen get their blood from blood donation drive. But what about private? Quick google shows they get it from blood donation drive, and sometime from government blood bank. But from I heard, private hospital charge quite a fee for blood bad. So if they get it for free, why want to charge patient for blood?

Also selling blood illegal in malaysia?

Any doctor or someone work in private hospital can enlighten me?

SHAH ALAM - Police have confirmed that the criminal known as 'Ah Boy' who was shot dead in Pulau Ketam, near here two days ago acted alone in committing the crime.

In this regard, Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the public need not worry about the possibility of retaliation by gang members or fellow criminals following the death of the suspect who has 15 criminal records.

"The suspect practices a lifestyle of committing robberies, burglaries and thefts for his own needs and will repeat the act when the money runs out.

"The suspect's behaviour or habit is to commit (crimes) alone. So, we need not worry about reprisal," he said at a press conference here today.

On Tuesday morning, the suspect, in his 30s, died in a shootout with police in a hotel room in Pulau Ketam, Klang, after being hunted for 10 days following the shooting incident at a shopping mall in Setia Alam on the night of Feb 8.

Commenting further, Hussein said the suspect who was involved in drug trafficking and use, had also served two prison sentences, with the last time he was released from prison in 2019.

He said the effects of drug use also made the suspect ready and brave to open fire at any time with the modus operandi being to take syabu each time before committing a crime.

Regarding the weapons owned by the suspect, Hussein said further investigations were being conducted to identify how the SIG Sauer and Retay pistols were obtained.

"We are still investigating how the weapons were obtained but believe that two pistols were purchased locally," he said.

Hussein said the post-mortem on the suspect's body was completed yesterday evening and confirmed that death was due to gunshot wounds.

Earlier, Hussein witnessed the handover ceremony of the new Selangor deputy police chief SAC Mohd Zaini Abu Hassan, who replaces Datuk Datuk Sasikala Devi Subramaniam who is on compulsory retirement, starting tomorrow. - BERNAMA
