Hi all.

Oh my, my PS3 is dead.

While watching House MD, suddenly a single pop sound heard, display lost feed. The PS3 indicator in red light.
Tried to turn back on, no success.
Unplug the power cable, turn on/off switch at the back, no success as well.
Might be the capacitor or fuse blew up.. Not sure.

So, I'm thinking for sending the PS3 for proper repair.

I bought it during the first launch of PS3 in Malaysia. The resit is still in hand, dated;20/9.

Would anyone help me, in the process of getting back my PS3; a replacement or repair. Things like the charges..

Thanks.

DFI DK X48 and Intel Pentium D

Hi,

I tried to install Pentium D processor with DFI DK X48 mobo, while waiting for new proc.
Can this be done. The socket is the same - 775.

I read the specification from the manual, there is no Pentium D mentioned. Searched at Google, some site say can.

I just install this new mobo, the DFI with the old proc, Pentium D.
Then, try to turn it on, the mobo LED just blip once, the fan just start to rotate, but then stop, nothing happen. Turn the PSU off and on again, then turn the pc on, the same thing happen. It looks like the mobo does not have enough power.

Tried removing all PCI card one by one, still the same.
Tried removing RAM one by one, still the same.
Rubbed the RAM and install back, still got the same problem.
Tried reinstall back the proc, also still the same.
Tried clear CMOS using the jumper, also the same.
Remove the battery, also no success

I dont know what else to do. Maybe I did wrong in connecting the wire, but I followed directly from the manual.
I suspect, maybe the proc is too old. I hope it is, cause I dont want a faulty board

Please help!!!!

Hi, I had installed slingbox.

Everything seems fine, except I couldn't figure out how to control (ie, change channel).

I search through the slingmedia site, but no luck.

Google search come out solutions for HAVA. No real solution for slingbox

So, could anyone help me figure out the problem.

Thanks a lot
