Hi all,

I have a problem on my business email address, which it is being abused by spammer.
I received spam emails in my inbox, the sender and the recipient are the same address, which is mine.

I know that there is service and also programs that can be use to send fake/anonymous mail,
and also the sender address can be changed easily if one has a mail server.

This email address is important for us as it represent our company.
I might not know our clients might receive spams from our email address,
and this could damage the reputation of our company.
So as a victim, is there anyway we can prevent it?

Hello all, just wanna share an experience and ask some question.
I just bought a LCD from low yat and it having some problem.
On the day I bought that place don't seems have place to test so I thought it was like a supermarket so I thought it don't provide it.
plus im kinda rush to get back to my office.
Back to home and I found there are 2 dead pixels on the LCD.
Second day, I bring back the LCD to the shop and too bad they don't allow me to exchange.
I admit I have responsibility for not test the LCD before I go.
But if the sales person had tell me they allow me to test it then I should have done it. sigh........
So...... MUST TEST EVERY PRODUCT U BUY FROM SHOP.

I'm not that familiar with the technical words,
does it means that there are 2 type of dead pixel? 1 is bright pixel and another 1 is dark pixel?
so I need 3 same type of dead pixels to claim the warranty?
e.g. 2 dark and 1 bright is not allowed for RMA?
e.g. 2 bright and 1 dark is not allowed for RMA as well?

can anyone enlighten me on this?

okie. conclusion is my monitor cant be claimed.
total need 5 death/improper pixel to claim.

Hello I need recommendation on choosing a AIO printer..
budget is RM400 and actually I have targeted these 2 models:

1. Canon MX318
2. HP OJ 5610

the usage will be quite light.. less than 10 pages per day..
I got another AIO printer in my office already but I dun wanna move it and I wish I have those functions in my house when I need it..
that's why wanna buy another 1..

I'ed googled for it but there is actually quite little reviews on MX318 (I think it's not selling at US market?)

hope those who got experienced can give me some opinion..

LG KU990, strobe flash or xenon flash?

hello,
Im getting a KU990R soon,
but just curious that how come LG state that Viewty has a Xenon flash,
but gsmarena say it's only a strobe flash.
as I know Strobe Flash is not as strong as Xenon,
so which 1 is correct?

and wanna ask for opinion,
comparing LG secret & viewty, which 1 is preferable?
the width doesnt matter...

I'm not sure should I post this here,
actually it's my doubt regarding port forwarding..
I'm using router to connect to internet.
but I'm kind of confuse bout the port forwarding,
do I need to configure port forwarding when I need to enable a particular port??

I tested using outlook express,
I did not apply any rule in the port forwarding option.. (pic 1)
and then i configure my outlook,
my outgoing mail port number set to 587, and incoming is as normal port 110 (pic 2)
and I have no problem at all to send and receive mail.
that means I don't need to do port forwarding and port 587 and 110 is enabled.

however, why I need to do port forwarding for my bittorrent and lancraft?
just don't understand...
hope someone can clarify for me

(btw, i did a port forward but im not sure is it work, anyway i can test it under command prompt?)

a message will prompt out occasionally and showing some funny characters..

that's all, brand doesnt matter but can recommend some good brand based on your experience?

Adapter for notebook

hello all,
my fren got a old notebook and the original adapter is spoilt.
the Original adapter output is 19V 4.XX A (forgoten)
I instruct her to bought a adapter which have the same V,
but does the "A" have to be similar to the original or else it wont be enough to charge the laptop??

other than that, she saw a adapter with many "head" in the shop also (see pic)
and the V are adjustable..
is this adapter suitable for the laptop as well??

as titled..
my friend samsung monitor having problem while come back from "power off" mode,
this power off is after 20mins not active, the power management will off the monitor right?
then when come back active from that mode,
the screen will start shaking for some times,
it's just 9months old I think still under warranty,
but just wanna know is warranty cover dead pixel only??
so problem shaking like this I cant send for warranty?
by the way it's a CRT monitor and not LCD..

Hello everyone,
I have my pc working fine until last weekend,
when I tried to boot it the system said my windows cant boot due to some file missing,
I forgot the detail message,
even when I try to go in to the safe mode,
when loading those dll files,
the PC will normally halt when loading the KRNXX.DLL (something sound like the kernel dll file)
ok, then I try to boot with my XP CD,
this time the PC halt again when loading the Kernel Debugging DLL,
I tried to change the location of my RAM,
each ram slot will cause the PC halt at different "place" @@

I tested my hard disk is working fine,
can be boot on other PC,
then I format and re-install XP into my harddisk with another PC,
and plug it back,
this time the system tell me
"NTLDR missing, Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart"

is this too strange??

I did googled for the NTLDR things but I couldn't even boot with CD so I cant replace the NTLDR files,
somemore I don't think that is the problem caused my PC halt,

think maybe the mobo failure but I dun have another board, ram or processor for me to test,
so dare not to buy a new board yet,
Anyone has any idea? or experienced this before??

Hello all,
Im not sure whether I should post this at here or the photography site,
but I think it's more suitable here because I try to repair my photo with software.

There are some problem with my phone camera,
so when I snap so photo the color may out for some part of my photo,
but the weird thing is at the thumbnail of windows,
I can see my picture without any error.
please see my attachment..

my camera probably got problem,
but the photo cant be taken again,
is there any software can fix or repair my photo??

Need Help on USB mouse in Win XP

Hello all,
I having problem with my USB mouse,
it wont be detected when I first boot my PC..
the curson does show but unable to move,
It will just work fine after I unplug and plug in again...

It only happen when I first boot the PC,
reboot will correct this problem (even I dun unplug it at the first boot)
I suspect it's driver of my mainboard and I try download the updated driver but it doesnt work,
my mainboard is Asus K8N. Is this related to my BIOS driver?
and I've get all windowns update installed this problem still occur,
Really appreciate any one can help on this

Error burning DVD video with NERO

hello every one,
Im tring to burn my .avi movie as DVD video,
but when I try to select the file i wish to burn,
It told me tat those movie is not recognized,
Nero cant convert AVI to DVD Video ?
I never try burning before,
so need help on this,
the file extension is .avi as I checked before,
and my media player can play the file,
but just cant burn it to DVD Video,
Any one can help??

[urgent] hardware failure after COD

the case is like this,
i saw a phone on lyn,
then agree with the price so we COD,
when COD the phone is ok,
then 1 hour after COD the phone cannot be switched on.
the phone are given 2 weeks personal warranty.
would like to ask is the warranty excluding the hardware failure?
I ask somebody on lyn they said it's depend on the seller.
by the way the seller never tell me that hardware failure is not included.
and I also din ask coz I always think it's should include every thing, seldom buy thing like this.

any opinion?

hello,
I just reinstall my windows and 1 of my partition goes wrong,
when I right click on it, there is a autoplay there..
I din do anything to that drive but there are data inside,
and the autoplay do nothing and make me cant double click to open my D:,
it's small problem since i can still open it by right click
but abit annoying open it like this every times,
any one can help?
