Resign from contract position

Hi guys. Need your help as per title.

My friend is working on a contract position. shes tied to the contract for two years. The contract her signed got agreement if its broken then she have to make compensation to the company. but did't not mention what kind of compenstation

so iwant ask she can resign from this company withput any compensation.

So need your guys opinion on this. Guys with law knowledge are most welcome.
