Hotmail Problems

Okay this afternoon when I woke up and sign in my MSN. I saw that I didn't have any new emails. That's weird because I clearly remembered that I had 23 unread emails last night.

So I clicked on the email icon on my MSN, it suddenly opens up Microsoft Outlook. Weird.

And then I tried login into my email account directly from hotmail.com.Guess what I found?

My inbox has been f***ING DELETED.

I haven been using this email account for over 4 Years, with over 9000 emails stored, (some of them more important than others).

It's like my history just been erased from my life.

Anybody got any solutions at all?

I'm confused about the 128 bit and 256 bit in GPU. Could someone clarify this for me?

Besides from performance, would different Bit usage on a PC cause compatibility issues if used on a wrong motherboard?

I'm currently using a 775 socket intel motherboard, but i don't know the model number.

UAC vs Warcraft vs Google Chrome

Okay, let me get it off my chest real fast

I'm a chrome user, a dota player and vista user. Only Recently the UAC started bugging me.

Whenever I had UAC turned on, every time i click on chrome, it keeps requiring my permission even i set it at adminstrator levels, even i put it in firewall's safelist.

So if i turn UAC off, my warcraft 3 will not work, it would tab out to desktop every time i tried to open it up, its unplayable.

I did some research and found out that you cant disable UAC for just one program. But how am i supposed to get all these 3 to work at the same time without conflicting each other?

I'll wait for about a day or 2 from lowyat before posting them again in the Chrome help section. Just wanna bounce off some responses off you guys, thanks.

[addedon]October 15, 2008, 9:37 pm[/addedon]help anyone?

Help ASAP, External Hard Drive Problem

Okay brief story:
I tried to copy files to my friend's external, was transferring a very large file (20gb), it estimated it would take 20 mins to complete, so i waited 30 mintues and came back.

the copying was stuck at 9 mins and not going any futher, so i decided to cancel the process. it didnt work, even when i end proccess in task manager. (mind you, i waited for around 10 mins, no response)

So i tried to shut it down though start. So I was forced to do a manual switch off.

Now after i turn on my computer, my computer cant see the hard drive anymore. It was detected in Device manager, with all the prompt pings and shit, but NOTHING ON "MY COMPUTER".
Then i plug that into my cousin's computer, it detected some removeable drive as well, but couldn't open it.

I tried scandisk, but it wasnt able to fix. I cant do a system restore cuz i didnt make a restore point before. And now i think its the hard drive problem (crash?)

I need help ASAP. Today. thanks.

Download Usage Tracker on Router

Hi, apologizes first off if this topic had been posted before. Tried use search but I have no idea what's the official name for it. So here goes.

Okay we all heard about roommates leeching off our download bandwidth right? Applications like Xunlei and other p2p causes massive clog in the bandwidth.

My ISP has given me a certain amount of quotas I can used per month. And well, I dont want to be selfish so I am okay with sharing my internet.

But the problem is that before even reaching mid-month, my quota has been used up, I didnt even used more than 20% of the allowance myself.

I dont wanna block their ports and stuff since I cant tell which programs they are using and im not a selfish ******* . But I would like to have a program that tracks which stastic IP address/ MAC address has crossed their download limit and therefore should be cut off .

I think i would just need names for the programs if you know of any, cuz I THINK it should existed ( heard it from someone).

If there is no such programs, how do I manage QoS to actually lower their priority and cap their download limit? I would rather track download limits because it actually reflects quantity.

Thanks in Advance

Sidenote: Billion 7405VP router (if im correct) and OS is Window Vista.

URGENT Need help - Unremovable Trojan File (fixed)

*Disclamier, i tried to search the forum, no results (or it just my noob search skills)

Okay, this happened yesterday. I downloaded a (cracked) copy of office2007 of the net and when i run it, it appears that a trojan has been installed on my PC.

Syndrome: 80% of the time i open folders or IE a popup will say:

Attention <name>, Some dangerous trojan horses detected in your system. Microsoft Windows Vista ™ Home Premium files corrupted. This may lead to the destruction of important files in C:\WINDOWS. Download protection software now! Click OK to download the antispyware. (Recommended)

I clicked Cancel, it will get pass it, but i got tired of the popup so i clicked on OK, it sends me to a blank page and LAGS my IE, now my IE is not functioning (when i google, it says it leads to somewhere called

Okay, no panic. So I ran my Kaspersky Antivirus 7.0, it detected something called AVpatch.trojan (cant remember) and IGNORES it.

After that, i tried, the popup still remains.

I run Ad-aware personal. Deleted some cookies and stuff. Still remains

No worries, i just google the thing, and some website recommanded Spyware Doctor and SuperAntispyware. Run Spyware Doctor (twice) and SuperAntispyware, and cleaned out some stuffs.

Vedict: popup still there.

Panic time. I started running a Windows Defender scan. STill found nothing.

Panic again. I run A FULL SYSTEM SCAN by Kaspersky, DELETED EVERYTHING it found potential hazard.

STILL REMAINS. THAT'S AFTER 5 SOFTWARES AND ABOUT 10 SCANS.

here is my HiJack log:

Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2
Scan saved at 4:02:28 PM, on 19/06/2008
Platform: Windows Vista (WinNT 6.00.1904)
MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6000.16681)
Boot mode: Normal

Running processes:
C:\Windows\system32\taskeng.exe
C:\Windows\system32\Dwm.exe
C:\Program Files\Windows Defender\MSASCui.exe
C:\Windows\sttray.exe
C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe
C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe
C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmpnscfg.exe
C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\msnmsgr.exe
C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe
C:\Windows\System32\mobsync.exe
C:\PROGRA~1\MOZILL~1\FIREFOX.EXE
C:\PROGRA~1\MOZILL~1\FIREFOX.EXE
C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe
C:\Windows\explorer.exe
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
C:\Windows\system32\SearchFilterHost.exe
C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe

R1 -
