Hi sifus,

I bought a flight from KL > Haneda on AirAsia, Premium Flatbed.

Feature says something like Can change flight up to 2 hours before departure (of course, need to pay fare difference la.).

1. Last time I tried to change flight before, there was a button to change flight. Then you compare around then choose the best date - least penalty lor.
2. Guess what... Now I don’t see it on website or mobile app anymore!
3. Only option is talk to the bot AI.
4. Then they finally connect me to a human.
5. He asked what date I want to change to, I said X date, and he told me fare difference is ~RM1500.
6. Of course, I asked him to help me check lowest price around that date.
7. Guess what – he said I can only ask for one date at a time.
8. I asked him again where is the change flight button, but he refused to answer. Instead he changed topic and told me to go check fares myself, then come back.
9. But from my experience, even the cheap prices shown in normal flight search don’t match the cheapest fare when you do a flight change (I don’t know why, but that’s how it works).
10. So I just asked him one thing: where is the change flight button, so I can compare myself.
11. He then asked for my email, said he needed to check on “something” to verify.

1 more thing, he said will definitely reply within 2 hours. Lets see if really the case.

TLDR: My wisdom tooth slant 90' and pushing through the neighbour teeth. Always stuck with food, now keep using water floss to ensure clean. Going to hit the side teeth saraf soooner.

Doctor adviced to take it out and root canal the side teeth. Family adviced never ever do root canal coz controversy.

Shopping Mall Rental Issue

Sifu sekalian, this year seems unlucky start.

Need help on rental agreement on a retail lot with local shopping mall.

TLDR,
1. Shopping Mall Landlord issued Letter Interest
2. We paid some money
3. Landlord issued Letter Offer
4. We paid full downpayment
5. Landlord ask us start renovation while they preparing Tenancy Agreement. They keep mentioned LO is actually binded agreement.
6. We submitted all 3d drawings, design, marketing plans and all - they love it
7. We chase Tenancy Agreement to start work, they delayed almost 4 months - then out of sudden terminate everything
8. Most funny is - they forfeit our downpayment as well and blame us didn't start renovation when letter offer issued.

Swear to god, we did nothing wrong. We suspect they found some better brand to replace us.

Is above legal? Where can we file complaint.

Conmen Contractor

Hi Sifu sekalian,

Need ask your opinions. TLDR,

1. We paid almost RM300,000 for a renovation project for a business
2. Contractor only completed 65% and give a lot of reasons, keep on cannot deliver
3. The contractor deducted RM50,000 for the incomplete works and then subsequently add another RM180,000 for different charges as new VO
4. Funny thing is, previous 'FOC' item suddenly claimed, because he keep argue he didn't earn profit from this project, despite all quotations signed initially.
5. Claiming we still owe them RM130,000 (RM180,000 Extras - RM50,000 undelivered works) despites all the shitty works delivered
6. Electricity all substandard, we need to rework on alot of things

Long story short, lesson learnt. But what should we do now?

Please don't ask where, why so stupid etc. Just too long story that will affect your day and mood. Admittedly, we cant believe we in this situation too.

Update 22/2:
1. They still continuously demand RM130,000 payment.
2. Just to clarify, for example painting works RM50,000 (Part of the RM300,000) in the original quotation, after things cannot delivered, they come to us and say actually painting works is RM120,000 .. you still owe RM70,000 extra works.. thats why it jack up a new bill of RM180,000.
3. Current new contractor including electricity and cover unfinished parts around RM100,000+.
4. We will report polis to cover and proceed with lawyer next week.

Update 23/2:
1. Pulis ask go for commercial crime as well, but honestly they so friendly la - ask us dont worry etc. Done.
2. Legal should be tomorrow
3. Contractor ask to settle peacefully

Need to put all this down so everyone will not be a victim like us anymore. Thank you!
