Car : Myvi that made all kinds of funny noises (worn suspension components) and felt rough riding cos not ori wheels. Car reeked of tobacco smoke.

Driver : Drove like a woman in labour, jumped queues and beat 2 red lights. Oh yeah and clearly must have voted PAS cos she didn’t keep her political views to herself.

What's the reasons in general German/Bavarian pubs isn't anywhere near as popular as Irish/English pubs?

Generally the case in much of Asia, none of them survive long and generally those that are popular tend to be popular for their pork dishes rather than being a good German pub.

I need to vacate my condo on the 18th as landlord can’t extend it till the day of my flight on the 23rd.

Prefer being near these places as am on waitlist for an earlier flight.

I was having lunch with a cousin of mine earlier.

He came with his wife and brats.

His role became a permanent WFH since Feb.

I asked him how's it been and whether he's enjoying it.

He said he loved it but I was surprised to hear that it's costing him more rather than less each month.

How's it been for you? Are you saving money or is this WFH arrangement costing you more money?

More GLC than X3 but more X5 than GLE?

Why is it the case that there are a lot more MB GLCs vs BMW X3s but way more X5s than GLEs.

Seems also the case there are more X7s than GLS… I live in Bangsar area I’ve seen way more G-class than a GLS or the Maybach GLS.

Somehow when it comes to SUV sales it doesn’t correlate to the sales of the sedans or hatchbacks.

Any idea why this is the case?

/k got a bit of a funny situation here.

Supposedly there’s a wedding invitation in my WhatsApp, except I only have WhatsApp installed on an iPad that hasn’t been switched on for 10 weeks… screen broken. The invitation came 8 weeks ago.

I got to know about it yesterday from a cousin of mine.

Wedding : Needs RSVP today as there’s a ROM party on Friday and then the dinner on Saturday at a Chinese restaurant.

Groom : Cousin (egg donor’s brother’s son)
Haven’t spoken to him in 4 years.
The last time I spoke to him I gave him a good firing cos his boss was a supplier and wasn’t performing.

Not spoken to his father for 8 years, something to do with he wanted to borrow rm10k I gave him rm500 and said now he only needed to find rm9500 from someone else.

Not spoken to his mother except briefly 5 years ago as I was visiting an aunt and she happened to come by.

His eldest brother is sworn enemies with me. Inheritance dispute. Something to do with a house our granddad once owned.

Bride : Don’t know her.

/k should I attend, pretend never received an invitation or give them a rejection?
