Should I buy "Telco Set" phones ?

So this dude on Facebook marketplace is selling an iPhone 13 pro max 256gb for RM4900+
Right off the bat, the low price is sketchy because you can get only get an Iphone pro for this price. He is claiming the price is so low because it is a Telco Set. He also said he used the phone for a few months and he has already fully paid his contract. I'm well aware of how these scams work but I want to give him a chance. I know what these scammers do is sell you a phone that hasn't been fully paid to the Telco, then a few months later the IMEI gets blocked and you cannot do anything about it.

Is there any way I can obtain evidence that he has actually finished paying the contract?
