I support PM's efforts to make Malay lingua franca in SEA and internationally. Actually, I feels Malay is a very beautiful and poetic language, just listen to P. Ramlee songs for a good example of this. Malay also quite simple to learn, defo much simpler to learn than Japanese, Korean, or Mandarin.

Think about it: If Malay become international lingua franca, a lot of new jobs will open up for Malaysians. Translators, language teachers, book editors, writers, journalists, etc.

i actually dun unnerstand why Indonesia so against this. International version of Malay will oso be good for them.

So, why not Malay-speaking country's language experts form an international council to create International version of Malay, then promote this as lingua franca first in SEA, and then eventually internationally? If Windows OS can give English International, why kenot give Malay International?

But yeah, pls dun neglect to improve English language amongst Malaysian kids too.

i feel like MY gomen should make mandatory that only those who score A+ on SPM English and BM paper will get automatic spot in local University. All those score B+ to A- must enter Battle Royale congkak tournament, only top 100 players left can enter local university.
