OKU sign on car number plate

Hi. Because I kena summoned RM300 last year for parking in an OKU car park lot, as I was in a hurry to visit the car insurance company. (Managed to get a 50% discount lah.)

So I decided to apply for an OKU card for my 82 years old old old old mother lah. Then they gave me one OKU sticker for my car in February this year lah.

But still I got summoned RM10 for not paying car park fees on the Flexi Parking app, not once, but twice in the last two months. Even though I managed to get the two summons cancelled by the ladies manning the counter at the Majlis Bandaraya, I'm now wondering this:

Could it be better if I got a car number plate with the OKU sign?? I know there is this Galaxy Gift shop in both Sunway Pyramid and 1 Utama where they can buat such car number plates.

But I am wondering if police might catch me and say "Hello!! It's not JPJ approved car number plates!" But if THAT is against the law, why do they allow the shop to make that kinda car number plates for motorists?? It's not cheap, RM120 for one piece.

There was a Facebook post yesterday by a mummy who said that her 13 year old daughter kena messaged by her friends or classmates in school to "go kill yourself".

This is my first sharing:

"Let me share with mommies here: for serious cases of bullying by kids in school at sensitive ages, such as 12-13 or even 16-18 years old? (The first case of bullying reported by a mommy here who said that her 13 years old daughter is getting bullied by some classmate who messaged her "go kill yourself".)

With my training in criminality from the Singapore Police Academy and some experiences handling bullies, gangsters AND criminals. I tell you: you must first tell your child: Don't be afraid of the bully or bullies. When needed, stand up for yourself and tell him or her this "After you, my dear friend. I need you to show me how to do THAT, okay? Can??"

Take the sting out of the counter attack by phrasing or ending it as a question. So that the bully can have some 台阶下 meaning: we give some room or face to the bully so that if he or she understands the meaning of your kid's words, the bully can still make a joke out of it. And the kids can still be friends.

Some cases of bullying are just school kids joking, teasing and making fun of one another. But certain cases such as the one reported by one of our mommies whereby the bully actually messaged her daughter "go kill yourself", we must pay some attention and take care!

We don't make it into a statement such as "After you, my dear friend. I need you to show me how to kill myself. Then I will do THAT lah." If we come across as too tough or hard headed to the bully, we aren't giving him or her any room for manoeuvring, which might be interpreted as "no face given to you!" by the kid. Then the bullying might get even worse. Meaning we should try not to antagonize the BULLY too much.

At the same time, if our child comes across as fearful or even cowardly to the bully?? The bullying will usually get worse because the bully in many cases will just 得寸进尺、变本加厉！Give her or him an inch, they might want a mile.

When I was in primary school in Singapore (Waterloo Primary School), I was also bullied, mostly by the girls. Sometimes even the boys will join in. So I think I have some first hand experiences lah.

The secret is to keep a balance between the counter attacking to protect ourselves and NOT antagonizing the bully too much."

Just feeling curious:

They had the 虎兔交接仪式（差点变成 “开餐仪式”）back in year 2023, year of the moneyed bunny 🐇 🐇 ?? (Some zoo in northern China put on some pass over ceremony between the tiger and the rabbit in Y 2023, which nearly had a TRAGIC ending lah! The rabbit almost became the baby tiger's CNY Eve's dinner!)

But then they didn't get the Indonesian Komodo Dragon to ACT in some show with the rabbit in year 2024 (year of the Dragging On and Off). But I think lah: the poor bunny just simply wouldn't have the slightest chance of simple SURVIVAL if put too close to the Dragon?

What about this year?? How come no one feels a little bit curious? How would a fight or "pass over ceremony" between the Indonesian Komodo Dragon and a Snake fare? And/or look like?

PS: Alamak! I forgot! You don't fool around with reptiles in case they bite you!

Came up with a new approach towards the LGBTQs

Actually this new idea didn't come out of the blue for moi. I decided on this new approach mainly because I felt truly sad for the likes of former Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, his wife and their daughter Prof. Lee Wei Ling.

Soon after Prof. Lee passed away in October last year?? I decided on this new approach towards the LGBTQs:

Proposed new law

Why doesn't the government put in a law to penalize Facebook (or other social media)??

To make sure they pay attention to the kinda ads they are allowing on their platforms, the government should fine the social media company something like minimum RM1 million (500,000 SGD etc) EACH AND EVERY time the ads on their platforms ended up causing some citizens to be cheated of their $?

There're just too many of these bastards aka Devils putting up ads on Facebook or other social media, with only one motive. They just want to deceive the people into handing their money to them by giving fake promises of high returns.

We need to get these social media companies to look at their social responsibility towards their users seriously, and we also need to protect the people from such Devils.

If the government is not going to do anything about this increasingly serious problem, trust me. You are going to lose the next elections because the citizens who kena such scams are just going to vent their anger and frustrations through the ballot boxes.

Also I remember the TV news reports were saying that such scams are costing the national economy losses amounting to billions of ringgit??

Hi, everyone. It's been some time since I left?? Hopefully everything is fine with everyone of you here!

Anyway I just sent my car (Perodua Axia X) for its maintenance service this morning at Perodua Service Centre the third time since receiving it on 26th March last year. Mileage was 10103 km. The instructions I received is to bring it back for service when the mileage reaches 20103 km.

So I guess I should service my car like every 10,000km, right?? Is this some kinda international standard for sedan cars, regardless of size cost etc??

But I have another question: can I send my car for servicing in some other car services kedai?? Because Perodua servicing is almost always over a few hundred ringgit.

I wonder if the outside car services shop might charge a bit cheaper??

Car accident insurance third party claim

Hi, my dear k/tards (AND some retards).

As I have informed you guys, g*ys, geeks AND folks. I got into a car accident sometime in September. I have just gotten my car back from the workshop recently.

Now the thing is I would like to apply to my insurance company to do a third party claim for the damage to my vehicle?? Is it possible to do THAT, and apply for the loss of use claim at the same time??

What impact or effect will that have in reality?

Just returned from our weekend trip to the shopping mall. Was walking around in the mall when I decided to return to an optical shop to look at the 🕶️🕶️. I had gone there yesterday once but was only looking at the normal sunglasses 🕶️😎 😎 only. Just now I asked the sales assistant for clip on type of sunglasses.

I picked up a clip on sunglasses and realised that it's magnetic. After putting on the glasses I tried to take out the clip on but my fingers slipped and the clip on dropped on the floor. I picked it up and returned to the lady. Then she said that it's already scratched and wanted me to buy it.

I mean I could have said one of these: NO. How about you prove to me that it wasn't already scratched before I picked it up? It could have been scratched at the factory and when it was sent to your shop, your staff didn't check properly and had accepted it? And where are the signs saying "Nice to see, good to hold. But if dropped OR scratched, consider it sold."?? Also I felt the magnet for the clip on wasn't strong enough.

But I couldn't be bothered to argue with them (staff of a shop that's barely doing any business! Waiting to bankrupt and close shop kinda optical chain). And bought the frame la.

But ended up going to another shop for the lens. (Can let you FORCE me to buy the frame, but why should I let you earn the money for the lenses??) Decided already.

Never going into this shop again!!

Even if they begged me to return, with or without any free GIFTS. One 黑店 in my blacklist FOREVER.

For the second time. On my kids' aunty (old spinster).

The first time was early last year. I had gone to see my sons at her house (apparently house is coowned by her and her elder sister who is already married with a daughter). She claimed to be not feeling well and so I asked my sons if they wanted to go out to watch a movie with me. And the old maid blew her top screaming at me "You're a wicked woman! You're a wicked woman!" And proceeded to use her slipper to hit me. I didn't hit her back. But merely snatched her glasses and smashed them on the ground.

This time round was about two weeks ago?? She had brought my sons over to my place after we had gone to do some groceries shopping at Speedmart 99. Then we had all gone to eat a meal. I paid for the meal. During the meal, she was her usual self: when she has yet to finish her own food, she would say stuff like "How's your food?? It looks better than mine. I dunno why my food is getting progressively uglier and not delicious anymore." I couldn't control my emotions anymore and told her off "XX, you've bad habits. Please finish your food first before demonstrating your covetousness and GREED for other people's stuff."

She didn't lose her temper at this point. But after we ALL got home (to my place), I asked my sons "You boys have yet to take a plane flight, right. How about I take you boys to Pulau Langkawi or Taiwan or Korea??" Before my boys could reply or make a response, she said "I can't take aeroplanes anymore. The last time I flew back from Vietnam, my ear drums hurt." I didn't say anything else and neither did my sons.

Then I proceeded to comment or criticize her a bit. Because she had told me in her car sometime in October that the younger boy had told her "DIAM" when she nagged at him to drink his water. I didn't know what to say at that point in time. But after they had gone back to her house I thought over the whole situation and proceeded to buy two water bottles on Shopee which I gave to my sons during this visit about two weeks ago. I can't remember what words I had used to criticise her but I know that I was speaking softly in an even tone.

But she threw her temper at me saying "If you're so good at teaching them, you go ahead la!" And then "Let's go!! We have to go home now!" She stood up and went to the door waiting for me to open the door to let them out into the car so she could drive the boys home.

My mum was her usual "keep the peace" self and even told her "Take care yeah?? Please take care." She didn't respond to my mum's well wishes and so I told my mum "It's okay. She can't hear."

Then I got the house keys to let them out.

My car accident on 15th September 2023

I was driving along the road Jln Setia Impian F U13/F when the driver in front of me suddenly swerved to the right and then even more suddenly made a ninety degree turn to the left. He didn't have his signal lights on. If I see the driver turn on his signal lights, I always step on my brakes. Because I have encountered drivers who after they signal left, they turn right. Or sometimes they signal right but pusing kiri aka turn left. (At other times, they signaled but still went straight ahead.)

Because this driver didn't turn on his signal lights I thought he was going straight and so I didn't have enough time to react and jam on my brakes. After the collision, we got out of our vehicles and he took a picture of my car. I also got out of my car and asked if he was ok. Neither of us was injured, both of us were ok.

I asked him if he had turned on his signal lights but he just mumbled something that I couldn't hear. Subsequently he asked me if I was driving fast? I said no, I wasn't driving too fast because if I had indeed driven too fast, I would think that either of us could have been injured.

He claimed that this was also his very first accident and so he called a friend who came to the scene. His friend told us that we should report to the police within 24 hours if we wanted to claim insurance.

I feel that the damage to his car can be claimed from my insurance and vice versa. Meaning I feel that the damage to my vehicle I should also claim from his insurance. I have the video recording from my dash cam and some photos I had taken at the scene to back up my claims, which can also be considered evidence.
