Stopping AI.

More people are beginning to question the promises made by AI industry leaders who claim that AI will make everyone wealthier and provide more leisure time. Elon said human no longer need to work.

Instead, right now many workers see jobs being reduced, wages under pressure, and consumers having less money to spend. Basic economics teaches that weaker spending can slow growth through the multiplier effect, leading to further economic challenges when we save money and not spend prepare for raining days.

As distrust grows, public resistance to AI may increase. By 2027, could we see boycotts of AI companies, consumer goods that replace human workers. Or even start destroying these Robot that bring food to your table that we see in C180 Chinese restaurant? If not 20207. When will we stopping AI? As more people worry about job losses, declining incomes, and its broader impact on society and the economy.

Best Exit Strategy reducing assets holding

I own fews properties zero loan, with all rented out and one used as my own residence. My portfolio ranges from low-cost to high-end properties. Financially, I do not require immediate cash, as I have more than RM1.1 million in KWSP savings and RM300,000 in fixed deposits.

At age 55 and retired, I am considering gradually disposing of all rented out property assets. However, I am unsure whether I should sell the low- and medium-cost properties first and last the higher-end units, or start by selling the higher-end properties and keep the lower-cost units for longer.

The lower-cost properties currently appear to generate better rental yields, partly due to inflation-driven rental growth.

Come share your opinion.

have noticed that the moon no longer seems as bright as it was in the 1980s and 1990s. Back then, during a full moon, my mother could tap rubber at full moon night without head lamp, and I could walk to my estate school without needing a flashlight.

Today, despite full moon nights, the moonlight appears much dimmer than I remember.

LRT 3 further delay ? or 30 June open?

Many Malaysians are asking who should be responsible for the delays in the LRT3 project. The project involved the main contractor, subcontractors, signalling system providers, consultants, and government agencies. However, the public mainly sees rising costs, delayed completion, and inconvenience to commuters.

Some people believe contractors involved in major delays should be banned or suspended from future public projects because taxpayer money is involved. They argue that companies failing to deliver on time should face stronger consequences.

Others say mega infrastructure projects are very complex. Delays can also happen due to design changes, approvals, land issues, political decisions, or technical system integration problems — not only because of the contractor.

Should Malaysia introduce stricter rules for contractors involved in delayed public projects? Should companies with major delays still be allowed to bid for future government projects, or should they be blacklisted temporarily?

LRT3 done by MRCB, George Kent, WCT, Mudajaya, IJM & Sunway.

What is your opinion on this issue?

When growing up in Malaysia during the 1970s, 80s, and 90s, snacks were a big part of our childhood memories. Many of us still remember buying them from school canteens, kedai runcit, pasar malam, or using 5 to 20 sen pocket money after school.

Some snacks are still in the market today, while others have disappeared completely. Even the taste, packaging, and price have changed over the years.

For those who experienced the old days, which snack do you miss the most? Was it Ding Dang, Mamee Monster, Tam Tam, Fish Satay, ice sticks, haw flakes, or something else?

Do you still buy these snacks today, or do you think the older versions tasted better compared to now?

POPO since 1975..

What good memories do popo snacks bring back for you?

House Price or Monthly Payment First?

When browsing property ads in Malaysia, many agents advertise houses by saying things like:

“Only RM2,200 per month”

instead of directly stating:
“House price: RM450,000.”

Why do you think this is becoming so common?

Do you think property agents are trying to make expensive houses look more affordable by focusing on monthly instalments instead of the full selling price?

For buyers, do you prefer seeing the actual house price first, or do monthly payment figures help you better understand affordability?

Sometimes the monthly amount also depends on loan tenure, interest rate, and down payment, so the real cost may be much higher over time.

Do you think this type of advertising is helpful, confusing, or even misleading for buyers?

What is your opinion?

The Changing Mindset on Property Ownership

When meeting new people in Malaysia, sometimes one of the first questions people ask is whether you already own a house or are still renting.

For those who already own property, do you openly talk about it, or do you avoid the topic because you do not want others to compare?

For those who still do not own a house, do you feel pressured when friends, relatives, or colleagues keep asking?

Nowadays, house prices in many areas are very expensive, especially near Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Some people buy early with heavy loans, while others prefer renting and keeping more cash savings.

Do you think owning a house is still necessary today, or is renting becoming more acceptable for the younger generation?

What is your opinion?

B40 Vs T20

In Malaysia, people often divide society into B40, M40, and T20 groups.

For those who are not under B40, do you think many Malaysians underestimate how difficult life has become for lower-income families?

For B40 families, do you feel frustrated when people say things like:
“Just work harder,”
“Stop buying unnecessary things,”
or
“Anyone can succeed if they try.”

At the same time, some non-B40 people also feel stressed because even middle-income earners are struggling with house prices, car loans, education costs, and daily expenses.

Do you think the gap between B40 and non-B40 Malaysians is becoming bigger today?

And do you think Malaysians still understand each other’s struggles, or are people becoming more divided by income level?

Is this a new ways of dividing us, after religion and race? share your opinion.

When studying or working overseas, many Malaysians notice that people often assume they are from China, India, or Singapore based on appearance or accent.

Will you just let people assume, or will you explain that you are actually from Malaysia?

Sometimes when you say “Malaysia,” some people — especially Europeans or Americans — may not know much about the country.

How would you explain Malaysia to them?

Would you say:
“I’m from Malaysia, a multicultural country in Southeast Asia near Thailand and Singapore.”

Or would you explain our education system, where students can study in Malay, English, Chinese, or Tamil schools?

What would you do?

Malaysia work life balance is 59/60 why so low?

https://www.msn.com/en-my/lifestyle/other/m...fe534dcebb&ei=9

What is Malaysia’s work-life balance like? According to an online index, in a list of 60 countries, we’re only better than Nigeria which ranked 60th.

The Global Life-Work Balance Index was compiled by a human resources solutions company known as Remote. The index reviewed the 60 highest GDP nanations with data collected and analysed in March 2023.

Their result? Malaysia ranked 59th

With a population of 34,193,706 people as of March 2023, Malaysia recorded a Work-Life Balance score of only 27.51%, with an average workweek of 40.8 hours.

Additionally, Malaysia offers a low annual holiday allowance of just 19 days and has a happiness score of 5.71.

Expand article logo Continue reading
In contrast, New Zealand topped the study with the highest Work-Life Balance score of 79.35%.The second position was Spain with a score of 75.55% and the third was France with 75.34%.

What is even more unfortunate is the fact that among Asian countries in the list, Malaysia ranked the lowest.

Singapore and Taiwan placed in the top 20 with the former at 19 and the latter at 16.

Methodology Of The Survey
The index was put together using several key factors to decide the work-life balance of the 60 countries.

Some of the key factors include the number of paid leaves which cover public holidays and maternity leaves, and the percentage of wages including the annual minimum wage.
They also looked at employees’ health status of and referred to the happiness index. They calculated the average number of hours that employees and employers work in each country.

This balance has become a pressing issue with the rise of technology, which has diminished the importance of physical location in defining work boundaries.

In the past, the clear separation between work and home life was easier to maintain because taking work home was challenging.

However, advancements in mobile technology, cloud-based software, and the internet have made it much simpler for employees to be constantly connected to work

This shift has blurred the lines between professional and personal time, making it harder for individuals to disconnect from their job responsibilities.

Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is crucial for mental health and overall well-being.

It involves setting boundaries to ensure that work does not encroach too much on personal life, allowing for adequate rest and reducing stress.

Mydin reply to Pas why he dont increase Price.

KUALA LUMPUR (June 15): Targeted diesel subsidies should not result in an increase in the price of goods, said Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd managing director Datuk Dr Ameer Ali Mydin.

He said this because operators in the logistics sector received diesel subsidies and still paid the price of the fuel at a rate of RM2.15 per litre

“The prices of goods should not increase. In Mydin itself, we ask for a fleet card as we are involved in the transport (logistics) sector. The goods arrive at the warehouse in Shah Alam, we use diesel lorries to send goods daily but we have a fleet card. We (still) pay (diesel at price of) RM2.15.

“Many people ask when will prices of goods go up. I say, why should they go up as transportation costs are the same. So sometimes these traders take advantage (increasing prices of goods) when the price of diesel rises,” he said.

Ameer said this while speaking at the opening ceremony of Mydin Mart Pantai Dalam as well as the presentation of Hari Raya Aidiladha donations to residents of the Lembah Pantai parliamentary constituency by Communications Minister and Lembah Pantai member of parliament Fahmi Fadzil here today.

Additionally, Ameer said the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN) has stipulated that traders cannot raise the price of goods at will and must provide justification to the KPDN before being allowed to increase prices.

5 marks

Why, Pas/ people wants Mydin to increase price ya?

Chinese soccer fans have poured their love - and money - into a Singaporean goalkeeper’s food stall after his performance in a game this week indirectly helped China advance to the third qualifying round for the World Cup in 2026.

Lions goalkeeper Hassan Sunny to donate money from China football fans to charity

https://www.straitstimes.com/sport/football...fans-to-charity

SINGAPORE – While there has been much attention on Singapore goalkeeper Hassan Sunny, with China football fans flocking to his Muslim food stall in Tampines recently, the Albirex Niigata veteran is staying focused on the football ahead of him.

Just like how he rebounded from conceding seven goals to South Korea on June 6 to put in a creditable performance against Thailand five days later, Hassan wants the White Swans to get their Singapore Premier League campaign back on track.

They had suffered a 4-1 loss to Brunei DPMM in their last outing, which Hassan had missed out through suspension after being sent off in the previous fixture against Hougang United.

[tiktok]7379435525775576328[/tiktok]
