1st time homebuyer-Messy dealings with developer

Hi all, I bought this condo in Klang Valley few years ago. After signing SPA, I heard rumours of this developer’s bad reputation through other buyers, together with the visibly slow progress on the construction. I started to get worried whether this condo can be completed or not.

Due to the delay of the progress, some of the buyers went for SPA termination and some confronted the developer. Developer assured everything is on track for completion. After many calls, emails and complaints made to developer and government agencies directly, the construction did resume eventually.

Then Covid came. The last progress was up to second MCO (mid 2021). Since then, there are no visible progress on the site. I am supposed to get my keys by 2020 if there are no covid. However, the construction was delayed >30%.

Till know, when I call up the developer, I am still assured that the construction is ongoing despite that no one is working at the side for almost more than 3 months!!!!! How do I expect to believe???
