Surgery for sinus

Hey Fam,

Im here to get your opinion on sinus surgery. My sinus is very bad and i often get sick/flu easily.

Because of that, sneezing constantly and my nose gets blocked.

I was considering surgery. But people said that surgery will increase snoring as some had that after surgery..

Is it true? Can i consider for surgery or is there better solution than surgery?

DBA in APU

I work in IT field with 8 years of experience. I have completed my masters 3 years ago and now i want to pursue DBA.

I was thinking of APU seems they're fast paced in digital(thats what i heard and read).

But i also saw negative review for APU about lecturers and facilities. Im so puzzled and dont know where to do my DBA.

I also considered UM Wales. But the ranking is so far globally compared to UM. No idea why that difference when one is University Malaya and another is University Malaya Wales.

I am not sure how the business school is in APU. Has anyone done phd or dba in business school in APU? Lecturers okay? In terms of supervisor, teaching all how?

Please advise. Any other school to suggest for DBA? Thanks

I heard lorry.com offers contract job. Drives must have own lorry and few other requirements.

Anybody is using this? Is it worth it?
Can make enough money or just like lalamove, good for kena kencing only?

Okay, i've planned to get a hermann tortoise because i live in an apartment and it wont grow as big as sulcata. So easy to care for.

I've done alot of research on google and took my time to get the finger tips first before getting one. Learning from owners would certainly add up some insight and tips.

Would you guys mind to providing feedback below?

1. I've decided to use pine wood for its enclosure. Would that be enough, or do i need to mix other substrate?

2. Can i use fake plants, because im not really good at caring for plants and worried it would die anyway. Some people mentioned that theirs tried to eat the fake plant, but they know if its edible or not and would leave them.

3. UVB and heat lamp is good enough?

4. Mine is going to be a hatchling, would 80cm length x 40 cm wide and 10 cm height enclosure suffice for now?

5. If i want to add live plants incase, which plant would be suitable if im using pine wood. Otherwise kindly suggest which substrate is more suitable than pine wood.

Where to report cop parking issue in housing area?

Hey,

I just wanna lodge a complain for this 'cop' parking issue for housing area. We previously dont have this issue but seems its trending and becoming a norm, some have started practising this habit.

There are parking spaces but they use cone, bike or any materials to block. Now some of us are facing parking issues despite there are space.

I saw dbkl actioned on this in seri kembangan, so i guess there is hope now to solve this problem for the residents.

I remember previously i made a complaint to majlis perbandaran, but they said cant do anything because its housing area and that i should go to management.

Management 3 times report also not doing much, the issue is still there.

So who is it exactly that i need to report or go to? Please guide

Dashcam not charging. What to do?

Hey folks,

I've been using apexi dashcam since 2020 and its been working fine. But recently I encountered an issue where the battery icon blinks and is in red color. The date also runs out despite I reset back to 2024. It goes backward to 2007 or 2008 like that, including the time.

Then I googled and found its because of low battery and that's why its acting strange.

I finally ordered the cable and charged it like 5-6h but the issue is not solved. No problem turning on and off or recording. All those works fine except the backward date and red battery icon blinking.

What could probably be the issue? The battery needs to be replaced?

Kindly suggest if its possible to fix it because its working fine without issues. The time stamp is important to me incase anything happens, its easier to find in the recording folders also.

Can employer know your employment duration?

I recently joined a full time job and have been here for 2 months only, still under probation. Its not a job related to my field but I've been jobless for 8 months so I accepted this offer because I'm getting tight financially.

So if I apply a new job and resign here, just putting 2 months or less than a year wont look nice on my cv. Its better I don't mention the job but I have to give 2 months notice, so there's no way to hide the employment otherwise why 2 months notice is needed.

So i was wondering if i could fill the jobless gap assuming i worked..

Would it be possible like that? Can employers know exactly your employment duration?

Kindly advise.

Employer ask for payslip

Im tired of employers asking for my 3 months payslip. I know its a norm now.
Sometimes I'm tired to reason and just give.

Do I have the rights to refuse? If its the employment that they wanna verify, they can call the company or check for epf deduction.
I don't understand why they bother to ask our payslips.

Isnt that confidential between me and the company I worked for?

Can someone clarify on how I can deal with this please?
