I saw maxis is promoting their 5G SA (5G Pro).
Does anyone know if they are maxis' own towers or is it shared with UMobile's SA network?

Unexpected good exp with TyrePlus Warranty

Hi All,

Just wanted to share my recent positive experience with TyrePlus Road Hazard Protection.

I finally got my car last month and installed 4x Pilot Sport 4S 21" wheels. Total bill was around 8k with installation included.
The shop offered me to top up for RHP Gold (12 months) instead of the free silver protection (6 months).

Thinking that I most probably will never use it, i decided to stick with the free protection (I'm prepared to replace my tyres every 2 years, the short time frame makes it seems unlikely I will experience bulge/puncture etc., especially since this car will be mostly Highway driving between Penang and Johor).

Anyway, just got a puncture 1 month in on my rear tyre (315/30/R21, so around 2k each) . The puncture was very close to the shoulder (so most likely need to replace...)

Went to a nearby tyreplus in johor and was expecting them to refuse my claim and needed to fork out cash for a new tyre to ensure my safety.

I raised my safety concern to the Tyreplus shopkeeper and he was nice to explain to me that that this puncture can still be patched safely, but he will still check if they can claim a new tyre for me.

After 10 mins, he came back telling me that Tyreplus approved my tyre replacement, though unfortunately these tyres are quite rare and they don't have ex-stock, so have to come back on Tuesday. But hey, at least it saved me 2k!

AGM Battery Lifespan in Car boot

I’m about to own a car with an AGM battery installed in the boot.

I’ve read that AGM generally have long lifespan when installed away from heat such as the engine bay.

Does anyone have experience with AGM in boot but with their car parked under hot sun about 6 hours each day?

How does the AGM fare in terms of lifespan?
