Help needed in verifying domain

Hi all,

I have recently purchased a domain (.com.my) from a mynic reseller.
I have also purchased a Microsoft exchange Plan for email hosting.

Now I have an issue in verifying my domain ownership with Microsoft.
Microsoft requires me to add an TXT or MX record at my domain dns hosting (this is what I understand).

I contacted my domain reseller and found out that they do not offer such services.

Hence I went to cloudns and register a free account and added the TXT and MX record there.
I have also changed my domain nameserver to cloudns nameserver.
But im still unable to verify my domain with Microsoft.

Is there anything I missed out / did wrong when adding the record?
or cloudns is not the approach I should go for?

Please advise.....

EDIT: I am trying on cloudfare now.... lets see if it works.. have changed the name servers on MYNIC to cloudfare name servers....
