A few days ago, I matched with a guy who complained to me that he was sick n tired of getting ghosted on dating apps and that ppl should at least have some decency to let the other party know that they don't wish to continue chatting with them.

While I agree that we should have some level of etiquette, there's a part of me that thinks that some ppl deserve to get ghosted. For example. I only ghost guys who cannot stop talking abt themselves n never ask me any questions abt myself. I used to point it out to them but they'd always get all defensive n be like "oh I only talk abt myself coz u asked me questions abt myself mah" *facepalms*. So now I don't bother explaining it to them anymore.

What are yr reasons for ghosting? And do u think that some ppl deserve to be treated like that?

How to pick up men?

Sometimes I would see cute guys at the cafe, supermarket or book store but I don't know how to strike a convo with them without giving them the impression that I might be a scammer (since there are so many scammers out there).

Should I ask them to give me some recommendations on things like coffee, groceries or books? Also, what normally goes thru a guy's head when he's suddenly being chatted up by a random girl?

Your advice/insights are highly appreciated.

Farkboys

There are more n more guys becoming farkboys these days and I'm quite curious abt them. I mean I know the reasons why they want to be farkboys but have they ever thought abt how long they can be this way? Obviously their looks will fade, their bodies will go out of shape n experience hair loss as they get older so how do they keep doing it until the day they die? They can do it forever if they're effing rich but what abt those men who are frm the middle income group? With less money n fading looks, what can these uncles use to continue playing the field? And won't they feel lonely during the holiday seasons where ppl gather with their loved ones but they have no one else coz their immediate family probably won't be around anymore n their friends ady have their own families to celebrate with?

I'd also want to know if the majority of farkboys will continue playing the field or get tired of this phase n settle down someday.

Know that I'm not judging these farkboys or complaining abt them. Just genuinely curious. Would be awesome if I can get some insights from these ppl n also former farkboys.

A lot of relationship coaches have mentioned not to invest your feelings in those ppl who don't invest their time n attention in you. What about those ppl who text u once a day? I get that some ppl are really busy with their lives but would it kill them to spare 2 mins to reply a text? To me, that just means he's not that into me. On the other hand, there are also ppl who really don't like texting but are actually warm, caring n engaging when u meet them in person. Based on yr dating experiences, which scenario happens more often? First or second one? I would also appreciate it if "bad texters" could give me their 2 cents on this topic.

I'm the type who seldom has crushes on guys but lately I'm crushing hard on this guy who already has a gf. The moment I found out he was taken really made me lose it coz I've been a nice girl all my life...I follow all the damn rules in love & relationships but what God gave me are guys who aren't available. I already tried expanding my social circle but it just so happened that I keep meeting guys who either don't click with me or are attached already.

I've had enough of this bs n been thinking abt stealing this guy frm his gf. Yes, I'm aware that karma exists but I also believe in impermanence n life can be short...i don't wanna look back 50 yrs later n wonder what if I made a move on him. I know this kinda regret will kill me.

Honestly I don't feel bad abt doing this coz he can still choose whoever he wants to be with coz he n his gf are not married yet.

During our parents' time, most of the people dated for marriage but now times have changed and women are more financially independent to the point that some of them don't see the need of getting married but they still crave for companionship. Hence, they date for companionship. Just wanted to know how many of u gals think that way n whether the ppl around u will give u shit for not following societal norms ie getting married n having kids.
