We are currently in rapid expansion mode and urgently looking to hire following positions:

1) Design and Build Intern

Location: Ara Damansara or Hybrid
Job Type: Internship
Duration: 3- 6 months

As a interior design and build (renovation) company intern, you will work closely with our designers, project management team and builders to gain hands-on experience in the field of design and ID construction.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with drafting and design work using industry-standard software.
• Conduct research on design ideas, materials, products, and techniques used in interior design and build.
• Help to create project proposals, timelines, and budgets.
• Assist with project management and coordination.
• Participate in on-site visits and meetings with clients and contractors.
• Provide general support to the interior design and build team as needed.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a diploma or degree program in architecture, design or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max and Adobe Creative Suite.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for design and construction.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to commit to the duration of the internship and work on-site as needed.

2) Site Supervisor

Location: Ara Damansara or Hybrid
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Duration: Can be discussed

As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all interior design construction activities and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Able to devise project timeline, schedule and arrange subcontractors works in sequence.
• Know the steps of taking possession of site and prepare letter to be signed off by client.
• Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, including supervising subcontractors and ensuring they are producing good workmanship and protecting client’s property from damages/ scratches.
• Always monitor the progress of ID construction projects and make necessary adjustments to ensure that deadlines are met.
• Coordinate with designers, architects, and engineers to ensure that designs are being followed and executed correctly.
• Experience in handling submission to the local authority.
• Ensure that all materials are ordered, delivered, and used efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure inventory are kept properly in correct stock level.
• Ensure that all work on the construction site is in compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and submit them to the project manager.
• Record all changes and issues arise at site by writing email or memo to client and parties involved.
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise on the construction site.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience as a Site Supervisor in an interior design and build company.
• Strong knowledge of interior design construction methods, tools, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions quickly.
• Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Ability to work and solve problem independently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.

Name of Company: IBM (based in Malaysia but cover ASEAN markets, right now its still very much WFH but traveling may be required as the countries open up)

Role: Technical sales for DevOps and systems engineering (pre-sales)

Remuneration: Based on experience, up to you to nego with HR

Requirements:
- Advantageous if you know IBM Rational suite of application lifecycle management products (Team Concert, DOORS, Rhapsody, Quality Manager, Jazz platform etc)
- Experience with competitive/landscape offering like Microfocus, Siemens, Jira, Github/Gitlab and related tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Urbancode etc
